Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Depart Kampala, Rhino Sanctuary - Murchison Falls National Park.

Set off from Kampala at 8:00am and drive to Murchison Falls National Park with a visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.

Proceed to the park with a lunch break enroute arriving early evening. Upon arrival at Murchison Falls National Park, take a short hike to the "Top of the Falls" for a breathtaking sight.

Check in at your Lodge/ Camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 : Wild Life Viewing and River Nile Launch Cruise

Embark on an early morning game drive in the Park's palm studded grasslands that support dense populations bird and wild life.

Return to your accommodation unit for a lunch break.

After lunch, take on a scheduled afternoon launch cruise along the Nile River up to the bottom of the thundering falls. Retire at Lodge/ Camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 : Full day drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Drive southward down the western edge of Uganda through winding agricultural lands, Villages and along the Rwenzori Ranges untill you get to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Arrive at the park in the evening and check in at your accommodation unit for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 : Chimpanzee Tracking, Water Birds and Wild Life

Wake up early in the morning for an early breakfast. Later drive to Kyambura Gorge for a thrilling Chimpanzee safari which may yield sightings of other primates.

After lunch, drive to the dock on Kazinga channel for a relaxing launch cruise an excellent way to see a wide variety of water birds and other wild life coming to water at the channel.

Retire to your lodge for a relaxing evening as you watch the spectacular sunset. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 : Morning Game Viewing and Return to Kampala.

Rise very early for a pre breakfast morning game drive that will enable you catch up with the early risers and predators returning to their hideouts.

Return to your lodge for late breakfast after which you will check out with packed lunch and drive back to Kampala. Arrive Kampala in the evening where you will be dropped.

Other Terms & Conditions :Please note that Entebbe International Airport ( Uganda's main entry point by air) is 41kms from Kampala (the Capital City of Uganda ) where our safaris usually begin and end. On request, we can always arrange for your airport pick up /drop (transfers) or accommodation in Kampala may as well be arranged for you at an extra charge.
In terms of accommodation, prices are based on the budget and up market options. Budget accommodations are in basic units like tents, hostels, lodges and Bandas. Bandas are small medium houses separate from each other. In most cases, these accommodation unit have basic and clean facilities which at times may be shared like the toilets and bathrooms. Attempts are however always made to reserve self contained units but in busy seasons these may be sold out and we opt for the available options. Meals at budget accommodations can be served either in dining or canteen. For the up market safari option, accommodation is in ensuite/self contained units with standard facilities and services such as meal.
