Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Kigali-Volcanoes National Park

  Have breakfast and after transfer to the Ruhengeri region and on your way have the en-route visit to the some of the genocide memorial centre and then have lunch at your lodge Mountain Gorilla View lodge/Laplame Hotel/Kinigi guest house. Then evening visit to the twin Lakes (Burera and Ruhondo) and after return to lodge for dinner and overnight.

• Day 2 : Rwanda gorilla Trekking-Dian Fossey center

  Have breakfast, after transfer to the volcanoes headquarters for briefing about the endangered mountain gorillas and the volcanoes as well, after enter into the tropical rain forest searching for the mountain gorillas and when you meet with the gorillas take the photos, videos and then have your lunch, after return to the park offices for your gorilla trekking certificate. Then in the evening visit the Dian Fossey center and from here experience the conservation effort she did to save these endangered mountain gorillas in the mist and it was due to these gorillas that she lost her life and she was buried in this forest! Return to lodge for dinner and overnight.

• Day 3 : Second Gorilla Trek

  Second gorilla trekking experience but to another different gorilla family and then in the evening take the cultural experience to the ibychwa community. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight.

• Day 4 : Golden monkey tracking-Lake Kivu

  Have breakfast, after go for the early golden monkey tracking and this is done at closer view of the other primates in the park like the red tailed monkeys, Vervet monkeys among other. Have lunch and then drive to Lake Kivu and upon your arrival relax at the shoes of the Lake sun bathing and swimming. Dinner and overnight at Lake Kivu Serena Hotel/Manor Hotel

  Have breakfast, and after take the boat cruise along the Lake Kivu visiting the local fishing villages. Return to lodge for lunch, after transfer to the Kigali airport for your night return flight back home. End of services
