This tour offers an incredible opportunity of visiting two National Parks under one package. You will get to experience the incredible shear size of our Nyerere National Park (alongside the mighty Rufiji River) and then hop over and continue on the "wild side" spotting wild animals and experiencing local culture at the Mikumi National Park. This memorable safari experience will start with Duteni picking you up from the Dar Es Salaam Ferry (if coming from Zanzibar) or from Dar Es Salaam International Airport or from a Dar Es Salaam area hotel
Transfer you to Nyerere National Park from Dar es Salaam (About a 5 hour drive)
Arrive at Nyerere National Park, check into your hotel/camp outside the park, have lunch and rest
You will have your briefing with a guide and then leave for your river boat safari at around 4pm
You will enjoy a sundowner (weather permitting) on a sandbar on the Rufiji River
We will then drive you back to your hotel/camp for dinner, rest and overnight stay.

Today you will depart early morning for an exciting full day safari with packed lunch out in the bush
This is your chance to get closer to nature and the incredible wild animals. You have a very good chance of spotting giraffes, elephants, hippos, crocodiles, impalas, warthogs, zebras, cape buffaloes, kudus & countless other wild animals and birds. With a bit of luck, you might be able to encounter lions, leopards etc
Your game drive will end early evening. You may see more animals as you head back to your hotel/camp.

After breakfast, you will begin your transfer back to Dar Es Salaam. You will arrive at your Dar Es Salaam beach hotel in time for lunch. After check in and lunch, you will have the rest of the day to enjoy the beach, the swimming pool and the hotel surroundings

Today early morning (after breakfast), you will depart the metro Dar Es Salaam and drive about 5 hours West to Mikumi National Park. Along the way, you will drive through beautiful landscape and pass through several small towns and villages.
Upon arrival in Mikumi, you will check in at your hotel and have lunch
Early evening, you will go visit a local nearby village where you will have an opportunity to respectful interact with our host villagers, learn about their culture, get to learn and experience their ways of life
After the tour you will return to your hotel for dinner, rest and overnight stay.
