In just five days, learn about Tanzania’s Big Five. Game drives will take place in Tarangire, Lake Manyara, the Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Crater. You will spend nearly two days exploring the Serengeti’s endless plains. You will spend the night at a campsite in the Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti, in the heart of the park. It’s a real journey!
Day 1 : Arusha to Tarangire National Park
On the first day we will pick you up from Arusha /Kilimanjaro Airport or your hotel in (or around) Arusha. During the 2.5-hour drive, you will enjoy the beautiful nature and landscapes. In Tarangire, we'll do a game drive before lunch. After lunch at the picnic site, we'll do a game drive all afternoon. Tarangire National Park is located 115km south of Arusha and is a long and narrow park that covers 2850 sq km and runs along the Tarangire River. The name of the park also comes from the Tarangire River, which is the only source of water for wild animals during the dry season. The park is famous for its large number of elephants, baobab trees, and tree-climbing African pythons. During the dry months, the concentration of animals around the Tarangire River is almost as diverse and reliable as in the Ngorongoro Crater. At the end of the afternoon, we will arrive at the Jambo Lodge and Campsite, where you can freshen up and get ready for dinner prepared by your private cook. Accommodation at Jambo Lodge and Campsite

Day 2 : Lake Manyara National Park
Our plan is to go to Lake Manyara early in the morning and spend the entire day on a game drive. Hot springs, waterfalls, bubbling brooks with crystal-clear water, and scenic vistas are some of Lake Manyara's most well-known features. The Great Rift Valley's rocks and Lake Manyara are home to Lake Manyara National Park. A great diversity of wildlife, grasslands, woodlands, and water all contribute to this park's attractiveness. With over 400 species, including flamingos and pelicans, Lake Manyara is home to one of the biggest concentrations of water birds. Elephants, giraffes, hippos, water buffalo, and impalas are among the other animals that can be seen in huge herds. Arriving at Jambo Lodge and Campsite at the end of the afternoon, we'll have dinner and discuss your overnight stay.

Day 3 : Serengeti National Park
After breakfast today, we'll depart and make our way to the Serengeti. Our four-hour drive will finally bring us to the Serengeti. We'll spend the entire afternoon on a game drive in this stunning park, following lunch. The immense savannah and woodland plains of the Serengeti are well known. Due to the drought in the northern hills, thousands of predators are migrating to the southern plains, causing the park to become well-known for its annual migration of approximately 1.5 million herbivores and their followers. They take a detour across the western portion to return after the rains in mid-April. We'll reach the campground in the midst of the Serengeti by late afternoon. Your tent will be ready, and the chef will arrive in the evening. The chef will cook a nice dinner for you.

Our first glimpse of the magnificent, unparalleled Ngorongoro Crater—the largest intact volcanic crater in the world and the centerpiece of the eponymous Conservation Area—will come today. We will have another morning game drive in the magnificent Serengeti, marveling at its animal inhabitants, but that will come first. It's a new day filled with adventure and animal viewing.
