This Kakadu safari in style is suitable for all age groups and is an authentic Top End quality adventure experience. Travelling with maximum 16 people in a purpose built 4WD vehicle, we stay in purpose built campsites with permanenet safari tents.

Travel to Nitmiluk National Park (Katherine Gorge) where you can paddle a kayak, take a cruise or walk the gorge.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Kakadu National Park, Crocodiles and Wildlife

  Starting from Darwin at 7am we commence your 5 day safari with our first stop at the Mary River Wetlands where we take a 2 hour corocdile and wildlife cruise in search o crocs, buffalo and other wildlife. We then drive further into Kakadu National Park stopping at the Mamukala wetlands to see the birdlife gathering around the waterhole. After a delicious lunch we explore East Alligator river and view amazing Aboriginal rock art. You will learn of the Rainbow Serpent and climb the Nadab lookout for amazing views. Tonight we stay in our private campsite.

• Day 2 : Arnhemland, Aboriginal Culture and More

  The 2nd day of your amazing Kakadu safari offers one in a lifetime experiences in Arnhemland with an indigenous tour guide. Take in the amazing vews, soak up the atmosphere as you view artwork at the Injalak Art Centure and watch the indigenous artists at work. In the afternoon we travel back into Kakadu National Park, we stop at the Bowali Vicitor Centre and then spend the night at our private campsite with campfire, dinner and time to share your travel experiences with your fellow adventurers. This is a magical day.

• Day 3 : Kakadu Sights, Waterfalls, Lookouts and More!

  Day 3 of your 4 wheel drive Safari we relax the pace and spend a full morning at Gunlom Falls to take in all it has to offer. Hike and explore the waterfall and escarpments, swim in the plunge pools. For the energetic travellers head to the rear fall where you can swim under the waterfall stream. After lunch we had off to the Katherine region stopping off at Edith Falls for a refreshing dip in the plunge pool before arriving ar our private campsite near Katherine where we enjoy dinner and a well deserved rest.

• Day 4 : Katherine Gorge, Jawoyn and Litchfield

  Today is an amazing day exploring the Nitmiluk National Park (Katherine Gorge). We arrive before the masses for a boat cruise, canoe or walk along the sheer rock walls that make this place absolutely spectacular (these are optional and at own expense). We spend time in the spiritual home of the Jawoyn Aboriginal People, have a lovely lunch before travelling north to Litchfield National Park where we camp ready for our final day of fun, adventure and exploration.

• Day 5 : Litchfield National Park & Giant Termite Mounds

  Our final day on this amazing Top End adventure has a lot of adventure and not a lot of travel time - which is great. Explore the waterfalls, spring fed streams and sandstone escarpments of Litchfield National Park. Swim, hike and explore Florence Falls, Wangi Falls and more. After a farewell lunch, we head to Buley Waterholes beofre an early evening arrival into Darwin where you can be reintroduced to the real world enjoying Darwin's vibrant bars, restaurants and meet the friendly locals. This will be one of the best tours you ever do in your life.
