In This tour We cover Ahaldara View Point, Jogighat Bridge, Sittong Monestry, Sittong Orange Orchard, Mongpu, Latpanchar, Lepcha Falls, Triveni Sangam, Tinchule View Point, Peshok Tea Garden, Takdah colonial, Lamahatta Park and lake. The tour package combined with meal plan, i.e. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. You can local food in this food plan. And also enjoy some activities as river rafting, river crossing with rope, bonfire et. with an extra cost. On 5th day the package end with dropping at Siliguri or NJP.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Sittong

  Arrive in NJP / Siliguri transfer to Sittong, a serene hill village in the Darjeeling district of West Bengal.
  Check into your accommodation and take some time to relax and acclimate to the surroundings.
  Explore the village and take a leisurely walk through the tea gardens. Enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding hills and valleys. In the evening, you can interact with the locals and learn about their way of life. Try some local cuisine for dinner.

• Day 2 : Sittong Exploration

  After breakfast, embark on a village tour to experience the rural lifestyle and cultural heritage of Sittong.
  Visit the Sittong Monastery, a significant Buddhist site, and seek blessings.Take a hike to the famous Orange Orchards and enjoy the panoramic views of the Kanchenjunga mountain range.
  Engage in birdwatching as Sittong is known for its rich birdlife. Keep an eye out for exotic species like the scarlet minivet and sunbirds. Return to your accommodation and take your lunch, spend a relaxing evening in the tranquil atmosphere of Sittong.

• Day 3 : Transfer to Takdah and Tea Garden Visit

  After breakfast, check out from your accommodation in Sittong and drive to Takdah, another beautiful hill destination in the Darjeeling district. On road Explore the Takdah Tea Estate, one of the oldest tea gardens in the region. Take a guided tour to learn about the tea-making process and sample some fresh Darjeeling tea. Also visit the Takdah Cantonment, a picturesque British-era settlement known for its colonial architecture and scenic surroundings. Check into your hotel and take some time to freshen up and lunch. In the evening, you can take a leisurely stroll through the scenic tea gardens or relax at your hotel.

• Day 4 : Sightseeing in Takdah

  After breakfast, visit the Tinchuley viewpoint, which offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, including the Kanchenjunga. Explore the tea gardens, known for their scenic beauty. Enjoy a peaceful walk amidst the lush greenery and tea bushes. Visit the Takdah Orchid Center, home to a wide variety of orchids and other rare flowers. Take a guided tour and learn about the different species. Back to your accommodation for lunch and spend the evening at your leisure, exploring the local markets or enjoying a peaceful time at your hotel.

• Day 5 : Departure From Takdah

  After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to NJP / Siliguri for your return train.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

• The Booking :-
• Your contract is with Ticket To Ride, exists when we have confirmed you on our tour plan along with package of your choice and we have received your deposits.
• Payments:-
• i) In general time 30% advance payment should be made to hold the booking on a confirmed basis and the balance amount can be paid at least 10 days prior to your date of departure.
• ii) In peak season 100% advance payment should be made to hold the booking on a confirmed basis.
• Cancellation and Refund Policy:-
• All cancellations must be made in writing to us at least a month prior to the date of arrival of the client. We levy the following cancellation charges.
• » 10% of the total amount if the booking is cancelled 45 days prior
• » 25% of the total amount if the booking is cancelled 30 days prior
• » 50% of the total amount if the booking is cancelled 15 days prior
• » 100% cancellation in case of no show.or 7 days prior.
• All hotel reservation require reconfirmation by the agent / customer atleast a one week prior to the date of check in failing which hotels reserve the right to levy atleast one night retention which is payable by the customer making reservation through us. Ticket To Ride do not take any responsibility to make any refund on deposit to the clients until the same has been received by us from the hotel/s. If payment of the tour is through Credit Card charge then the contract is irrevocable. If there is any complaint regarding services it should be communicated to Ticket To Ride while the tour is still on. Refund, if any, will be made in Indian Rupees only in India before the departure at the end of the tour, as per the conversion rate prevailing at the time of refund.
• Refunds for unused services or shortening of tour due to genuine reason will be executed within 15 days of your returning to your home Country.
• Liability:-
• Ticket To Ride does not own or control hotels, coach or other facilities mentioned in the tour. As an operator of the package tour therefore, we cannot be held liable.
• Ticket To Ride accepts the liability for those arrangements for your holiday, which are wholly within our control and therefore, accept liability to clients for the negligence of our employees. However, we would like to draw attention to the following circumstances, which fall outside our direct control or where for some reason we are not prepared to accept liability.
• We do take all reasonable steps in ensuring that the organization maintains standards and provide a service that is acceptable to the passengers. The information within this website has been compiled with all reasonable care and is correct to the best knowledge of the company and is published in good faith.
• Complaints:-
• We do our best to give passengers travelling on any of our holidays, an enjoyable and trouble free vacation but occasionally plans go wrong. Should you have any complaint, please inform your tour manager (at the same time), who will do everything possible to resolve the matter immediately.
• Passports & Visas :-
• To travel from India to overseas countries, one needs a 06 months valid passport and a valid Visa. And processing fees of Passport and Visa are not included in the tour cost.
• Early Check-in / Late Check -out :-
• Please note that standard check-in / Checkout time in most hotels is 1200 Hrs. (IST). Therefore cost of early check-in or Late check-out is not included in the tour cost. We can always make a request for early check-in or late checkout if required but we do not guarantee that, that entirely depend upon the policy of the hotel, time of the year and availability of the room.
• Extra Uses of our Vehicle :-
• Please note that cost of the vehicle (car / coaches with the driver) does not include extra usage of vehicle like after transfer or after sightseeing until or unless it is mentioned in the itinerary.
• Rights to amend the itinerary if required :-
• Tour once commenced will strictly go as per the itinerary finalized. In case of events and circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to change all or parts of the contents of the itinerary for safety and well being of our esteemed passengers.
• Surcharge :-
• The Price of your travel arrangement is subject to surcharges in case of sudden hike in fuel prices, schedule airfare and any taxes levied by the government. Even in this case, we will try to absorb an amount of 2%, amount exceeding over 2% will be surcharged.
