Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival at Ujjain

  Upon arriving at Ujjain station, meet by our company representative cum driver who will meet and greet you and take you at your pre booked hotel, after that check in at your hotel. Overnight at Ujjain.

  Early in the morning get ready to attend Bhasmarti at your own. Later return to your hotel have breakfast and proceed to visit major tourist attraction such as Mahakaleshwar Temple, Chintaman Ganesh, Bhartrihari Caves, Bade Ganeshji Ka Mandir, Pir Matsyendranath, Vedh Shala and Kaliadeh Palace Evening witness Aarti ceremony at Shipra river & later at Harsiddhi temple. Overnight at Ujjain.

  Today after breakfast drive to Omkareshwar. Arrive Omkareshwar and visit
  Omkareshwar is adorned with lofty hills, between which the river Narmada forms a serene pool. Above this pool runs a cantilever type bridge which further enhances the scenic beauty of this island. After visiting Omkareshwar check into your hotel. Overnight at Omkareshwar.

• Day 4 : Omkareshwar 鈥� Maheshwar - Indore

  Today after breakfast checkout form your hotel and drive to Maheshwar upon reaching Maheshwar visit Maheshwar fort and Enjoy boat ride at the picturesque Ghats of Maheshwar.
  
  Maheshwar: Situated on the banks of river Narmada, Maheshwar appeals to both, the pilgrim as well as the tourist in you. The town possesses a treasure trove of beautiful temples that calm the soul, alongside man-made creations that please the eyes. A centre of handloom weaving since the 5th century, Maheshwar has been producing the exquisite Maheshwari saris and fabric.
  This historic town weaves spirituality and folklore with the beauty of nature and Maheshwari saris, bringing alive child-like awe in you. Evening enjoy sunset from Ghats of river Narmada or by enjoying boat ride. After visit straight drive to Indore. Arrive Indore check into your hotel. Overnight at Indore.

• Day 5 : Indore (Excursion to Mandu)

  Morning after breakfast visit Mandu or Mandavgad which is a uninhabited ancient city in the present-day Mandav area of the Dhar district. It is located in the Malwa region of western Madhya Pradesh. In the 11th century, Mandu was the sub division of the 鈥淭arangagadh鈥�. This fortress town on a rocky outcrop about 100 km (62 mi) from Indore is celebrated for its fine architecture. An inscription discovered from Dhar district states that the word 鈥淢andu鈥� is believed to be a Prakrit corruption of 鈥淢andapa Durga鈥�. The inscription is dated 555 CE, which indicates that Mandu was a flourishing town in 6th century.
  Mandu, due to its strategic position and natural defences, was an important place with a rich and varied history. It was an important military outpost and its military past can be gauged by the circuit of the battlemented wall, which is nearly 37 km (23 mi) and is punctuated by 12 gateways. The wall encloses a large number of palaces, mosques, Jain temples of 14th century and other buildings. The oldest mosque dates from 1405; the finest is the Jama Masjid or great mosque, a notable example of Pashtun architecture. The marble domed tomb of this ruler is also magnificent.

• Day 6 : Indore sightseeing & Departure

  After Breakfast checkout from Hotel and visit Local places (if time permits) of Indore, Indore is located at the center of Malwa Plateau and it is a place which takes one back to the Holkar Dynasty. , go out to witness a great combination of art and culture of different regions and ages. This combination can be seen through the different attractions of this place such as Central Museum, Gomatgiri, Kanch Mandir, Khajrana and Lal Bagh Palace.
