This is a highly recommended two country 4 day visit taking advantage of Kigali International Airport as the closest International Airport to the Uganda Mountain Gorillas.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Welcome & Tour Breifing. Transfer to Lake Mburo for Game Drive

  You will be met at Entebbe International Airport by your drive guide who will warmly welcome you and provide a tour breifing.
  Then you will take the transfer to Lake Mburo National Park and check in to your accommodation.
  The afternoon will be spent on a Game Drive spotting Zebras, Rothchild Giraffes, Impala, Water Buffalo, Hippos and if you’re lucky a shy leopard or lion.
  Overnight at your preferred accommodation choice.
• Day 2 : Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

  After breakfast take a morning game drive and spot the animals of Lake Mburo National Park welcoming the morning sun.
  Then you will take the 5.5 hour transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in preparation for your Gorilla Trek the following day.
  Accommodation at your preferred choice.
• Day 3 : Mountain Gorilla Trek

  After an early breakfast you will be transferred to the nearby Park Headquarters for a briefing on your exciting trek.
  The trek can be between 2-8 hours depending on the movements of these magnificent creatures. Generally during the rainy seasons they tend to come down to lower altitudes closer to the lodges.
  Spending an hour with Mountain Gorillas is described as one of the best natural animal encounters on the planet. They are our 2nd closest genetic relative and there are estimated to be only under 900 left on the planet, with 340 in Bwindi. Conservation is seeing these numbers increase substantially over the last 15 years as ecotourism supports the care from local communities.
  After the once in a lifetime trek, you will be transferred across the border to Volcanoes National Park.
• Day 4 : Golden Monkey Trek Then Transfer Back to Kigali

  Early breakfast this morning, then your driver/guide will transfer you to the starting point for your Golden Monkey Trek.
  Rwanda is considered the best place in the world to view these rare, energetic and beautiful creatures as it is the largest habituated troop in the world.
  After your trek you will be transferred back to Kigali and your connecting flight. If that flight is a night time flight then we will take you on a city tour including the Genocide Memorial and also dinner.
