Tsavo East National park is a natural territory to most of the large mammals and holds vast herds of dust-red elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, hippos, crocodile, waterbucks, Lesser Kudu, Gerenuk, Hirola to name a few from its plentiful wildlife species. Most of the game drives take place south of the Galana, and Voi River, which feeds the shallow Aruba dam and Kanderi Swamp that attract a huge concentration of animals like red Tsavo elephants, lions, cheetah, buffalo, giraffes, antelopes and many more species in search of water. Mudanda Rock, a natural water catchment area that attracts large numbers of animals, Yatta Plateau that attracts a large number of migratory birds, Lugard Falls are a series of shortfalls and steep rapids on the Galana River, Crocodile Point, where the big reptiles can often be seen basking in the sun, are some of the areas often visited by most Tsavo East safaris vacationers.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Mombasa / Tsavo East - 2hrs Drive

  You will be picked up in the morning from your hotel. Drive to Tsavo East entering the park through Bachuma Gate. Embark on a game drive looking for animals like herds of Elephants, Giraffes, Buffalo, Lion, Cheetah, Zebra, Impala, Monkey among many others. Check in at the Lodge before lunch. After lunch and a short rest. Proceed for an afternoon game drive till late in the evening. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/Camp.
• Day 2 : Tsavo East

  Enjoy a whole day leisurely looking for animals,with a visit of Lugard Falls,whereby you will be able to see & enjoy the physical features of nature.Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/Camp
• Day 3 : Tsavo East/ Mombasa

  Pre and after breakfast game drive looking for animals. Later on game drive enroute as you leave the park. Lunch at a restaurant. Depart for Mombasa arriving late in the afternoon. You will be dropped at your hotel.
  Daily Departure: Minimum 2 persons.
