Masai Mara Game Reserve 鈥� Kenya鈥檚 most popular park and home to the wildebeest animal migration-The Wildebeest Migration, is one of the 鈥淪even New Wonders of the World鈥� and also known as The World Cup of Wildlife. 鈥�After the rains when the first flush of grass turns the Masai Mara鈥檚 golden savannah green, the most mesmerising wildlife spectacle anywhere takes place here: Wildebeests (connochaetes taurinus) cross the Mara river during their migration to the greener pastures

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Pick Up from Your Location and Head for Masai Mara

  Your safari starts with pick up at 7:30 am from your Nairobi hotel or airport and drive to Masai Mara.
  
  A Masai Mara safari is an unmissable highlight of any holiday in Kenya. There are breathtaking panoramas in every direction, a vast range of wildlife including the Big Five and a rich cultural heritage to explore. Kenya鈥檚 Masai Mara is without doubt one of the greatest safari destinations in Africa.
  
  Between July and October things get busy in the Great Rift Valley. Millions of zebra and wildebeest make the perilous crossing across the Masai Mara in search of new grazing territory. And in their wake comes a veritable horde of predators including lion and leopard.
  
  At 17.00hrs you will be picked from your hotel by Maasai Morans (warriors) who will guide you through a walking safari in the dense Maasai Mara as you head later for a cultural tour to some of the old tribes that still exist.
  
  You'll return to lodge/camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

• Day 2 : Full Game drives Masai Mara National Reserve

  Today's itinerary is flexible and you can discuss with your guide and plan for the day鈥檚 schedule. You can either have a relaxed breakfast and depart for full-day game drives at around 7:30 am with a picnic lunch. This will give you a chance to visit the Mara River where the migration happens during its time. Also, you'll have better chances to view wildlife all day and return back to the lodge/camp late in the afternoon.

  At 6:00 am, have an early morning game drive. Later return to your accommodation for breakfast and relax for the morning until mid-afternoon. Then at 4:00 pm, depart on an afternoon game drive. At 6:30 pm, return to lodge/camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

• Day 3 : Depart for Naivasha then Nairobi

  You'll have breakfast then drive to Lake Naivasha.
  
  You'll arrive and start a boat trip around Lake Naivasha immediately. The boat trip will take you around the highest lake in the Rift Valley with magnificent views of the lake and hundreds of birds species. Here you also see tens of hippo pools from your boat.
  After the boat trip, you will proceed to the animal sanctuary for a walking safari.
  You will be transferred to your Nairobi location or to the airport for your home bound flight.

• Park entry fees at Mara gate is citizen pay Kshs. 1,000/- EA resident pays- ksh 1,200 and Non Residents $80 per ENTRY hence for 3 days you pay Ksh 2,000 and usd 160 respectively
