The Mata Vaishno Devi Shivkhori Darshan of 03 nights & 04 days tour package is a golden opportunity to visit Vaishno Devi for those with limited time on their hands but still want to visit this famous Hindu pilgrimage destination in Jammu & Kashmir. Enjoy the experience of a helicopter ride to Sanjichhat, from where you can seek the divine blessings of Mata Vaishno Devi after a short trek. On the 2nd day, you will visit Shiv Khori Temple, the abode of Lord Shiva, located about 70 kilometers from Katra. Along with a divine spiritual experience, you can also enjoy sightseeing of the surrounding, and will receive excellent accommodation & transport.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival Jammu – Katra

  Welcome to Jammu, the winter capital of the Indian State of Jammu and Kashmir. On arrival, you will be greeted by Tour My India representative/driver, and get transferred to Katra, the base point of Vaishno Devi. Arrive at Katra and check into your hotel, and relax in the comforts of your room. After relaxing for a while, move out of your hotel room and board a chopper that will drop you at the Sanjichhat. From Sanjichhat, you are required to follow a short trek to the entrance of the temple. Here you need to show their return boarding pass for an early Darshan at the shrine.
  
  Vaishno Devi Shrine enshrines three pindis which symbolizes three forms of Goddess Shakti-Goddess Saraswati, Goddess Lakshmi and Goddess Kali. You can also buy the Prasad from the Vaishno Devi Shrine shop.
  
  Later, return to Sanjichhat for boarding a chopper to return back to Katra. Stay overnight at the hotel in Katra.

• Day 2 : Katra - Shiv Khori – Katra- Same Day Excursion

  After early breakfast, go for an excursion to Shivkhori temple, which is around 70 kms and takes 3 hrs each way to reach. Shivkhori means the cave of Lord Shiva. While driving to the holy place, you will also visit two holy spots enroute. The first one is Aghar Jitto (6 kms from Katra), which is the shrine of revolutionary Baba Jitto. Next visit the shrine of Nau Deviyan (10 kms from Katra).
  
  On reaching Shivkhori, you will be dropped at the starting point of the yatra to the Shivling which is around 4 kms steep walk. The yatra and darshan can take anytime between 1.5 to 3 hours. After darshan & Katra Sightseeing return back to the starting point and get transferred back to the hotel.
  
  Overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 3 : Katra-Jammu Drop

  Begin the last day of your tour with a delish breakfast in your hotel at Katra. Post breakfast, you will be transferred to the Jammu Airport/Railway station. Board your flight/train back home with fond memories.
