Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival

  On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International airport, you will be met by our Company representative and escorted to settle into the Sarova Stanely Hotel where your accommodation has been booked on Bed and breakfast basis.

• Day 2 : Nairobi - Maasai Mara

  After breakfast, proceed to Kenya's premier wildlife park - the Maasai Mara home to the residents of the BBC's Big Cat diary arriving in time for lunch. These vast plains provide incredible game viewing for this Kenya safari. Afternoon game drive.
  Dinner and overnight at Mara Sarova Camp.

• Day 3 : Maasai Mara Game Reserve

  Spend the day in Maasai Mara, Kenya's most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five- Lion, Leopard, Elephant, buffalo and rhino. You can opt to go out with picnic boxes to spend most of the day in the park coming back to the lodge in the late afternoon or you can have early morning pre-breakfast game drive and another one late afternoon. There will be optional visit to a local Maasai village.
  All meals and overnight while on safari at Mara Sarova Camp.

• Day 4 : Maasai Mara - Lake Nakuru

  After breakfast drive to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving Sarova Lion Hill Lodge in time for lunch. Seasonally up to a million flamingos reside along this Kenyan lake shore giving the lake a pink hue. The view of so many birds is very rewarding and appears almost unreal.
  The hills surrounding the lake give an almost perfect silhouette safari and are home to lions, leopards, cheetahs and buffalos. This Park is also a sanctuary for both the black and the white rhino – it is relatively small in size so it makes it easier to spot all these animals. After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive.

• Day 5 : Lake Nakuru - Amboseli

  0800 hrs. You are picked up after breakfast, drive south safari driving southwest to Amboseli located at the foot of the snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro. Arrive in time for lunch at Amboseli Serena Lodge. After lunch, go for an afternoon game drive until dusk. Amboseli is well known for its great views of Mt. Kilimanjaro (weather permitting) and for the African Jumbos – over 1,000 elephants.
  You may also catch sight of buffalos, lions, antelopes and hippos in the open savannah and swamplands. Hopefully you will see big cats.
  Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge.

• Day 6 : Amboseli

  Spend the day in Amboseli, with an early morning pre-breakfast game drive when you have the best chance to see the majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro. Return to the lodge for late breakfast. The rest of the morning is at leisure. Afternoon game drive.

• Day 7 : Amboseli - Arusha - Lake Manyara

  After breakfast leave Amboseli at 0630hrs and drive to Namanga where you will change vehicles and drive/guide, as well go through the immigration process, then proceed to Arusha arriving in time for lunch. After lunch, drive to Lake Manyara. Enjoy an evening game drive in the Lake National Park whose inhabitants include hippos, monkeys, tree climbing lions, flamingos and other varieties of birdlife.

• Day 8 : Lake Manyara - Serengeti

  After an early breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park. Lunch at Serengeti Sopa Lodge/Serengeti Serena Lodge. Spend the afternoon game viewing in the endless plains of the Serengeti for a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade.
  Return to Serengeti Serena Lodge for dinner and overnight.

• Day 9 : Serengeti - Ngorongoro

  Depart for an early morning around your lodge, return to the lodge for breakfast. Mid morning, depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Lunch at the lodge. This afternoon, you will descend 2000 feet (over 600 metres) to the floor of the crater for a half day crater tour. Explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkeys and elephants, the lake area, where you may see the flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food.

• Day 10 : Ngorongoro - Tarangire

  After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park arriving in time for lunch and an afternoon of game viewing.
  Lesser kudu, eland, lion and gerenuk can be found in this beautiful park, noted for its multitude of baobab trees and its tree-climbing lions.
  Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge.

• Day 11 : Tarangire - Arusha - Nairobi

  Enjoy an early morning game drive in the Tarangire National Park. Breakfast at the lodge, followed by the drive back to Arusha with game viewing en route. Lunch in Arusha town. After lunch proceed to catch the 1400 hrs Impala Shuttle bus and transfer to Nairobi.
  Upon arrival transfer to Sarova Stanley Hotel dinner and overnight.

• Day 12 : Nairobi/Fly Kigali/Volcanoes

  After an early breakfast pick up at 0500hrs and transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your morning flight to Kigali departing at 0750hrs. Meet by our agent in Kigali on arrival at 0820hrs. Visit the Genocide Mausoleum. Lunch in town. Follow the road as it climbs to the base of the majestic volcanoes, with spectacular views across the five peaks. Continue toward Volcanoes NP.

• Day 13 : Mountain Gorillas

  As the first light of dawn breaks through the curtain of mist clinging to the summits of Karisimbi, Bisoke, Sabyniyo, Gahingaand Muhabura, we make our way into the Parc National des Volcans. Tracking the gorillas through the unique vegetation can take several hours of challenging walking in wet and muddy conditions. To see a gorilla, the trek will have been worth the hardship.

  Enjoy during the early morning hours the peaceful atmosphere of the volcanoes. Then drive to Kigali or an early lunch. Transfer to the airport for
