Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : ARRIVAL IN SRINAGAR + LOCAL

  Welcome to The Lake City Srinagar -Upon arriving at Srinagar airport meet our representative and get transferred to the pre-booked Houseboat. After fresh up indulge in local sightseeing of Srinagar. Places to cover will be Nishat Garden, Shalimar Garden, Chashma Shahi, Pari mahal and Shankaracharya Temple. Evening will be free for leisure activities. Overnight stay in houseboat

• Day 2 : GULMARG DAY TRIP (52 KMS 1-2 HRS |One side)

  After taking breakfast proceed towards Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers). Enjoy natural beautiful surroundings, pony rides and gondola rides (on your own expenses) Gondala Ride have two phases - Gulmarg to kungdoor (Phase 1) and Kungdoor to Affarwatt (Phase 2). Another place to explore in Gulmarg will be Golf club which has been into existence for hundreds of years. In the evening drive back Srinagar for a comfortable overnight stay.

• Day 3 : PAHALGAM DAY TRIP (93 KMS/ 2-3 HRS |One side)

  After taking the breakfast drive to Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherd). On the way do not miss the sightseeing of Sun Temple. The ruins of this temple traces back to era of Pandavas and believed to be the construction of 370-500 AD. If one wishes to add more places to their tour, feel free to go ahead to Chandanwadi, Aru, Betaab Valley (Sightseeings on your expenses). In evening return to Srinagar hotel for a cozy night stay.

• Day 4 : SRINAGAR – SONMARG – KARGIL (125 KMS/5-6 HRS)

  Enjoy your morning meal and proceed to Sonmarg (Meadow of Gold). After spending sometime in sonmarg, drive to Kargil via Zojila pass and Drass Valley. On the way catch the glimpses of famous Tiger Hill Tololing which played an important role in Kargil War. Kargil War Memorial will be another interesting place to cover enroute. Reach Kargil town and check into the hotel.

• Day 5 : KARGIL – LAMYURU – MAGNETIC HILL – LEH (218 KMS/ 7-8 HRS)

  After taking the breakfast, check out from the hotel and hit the roads to Leh. We will make our way through Mulbek, Namika La, Fotula La, Lamayuru, Khaltse and uleytokpo. Highlights of the tour will be Alchi Monastery, Magnetic Hill and river rafting at Neemu (Sangam point of Indus and Zanskar river). Resume your trip to cover Gurudwara Pather Sahib and hall of fame museum enroute. Reach Leh and check into the hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel.

• Day 6 : IN and AROUND LEH

  After taking the breakfast cover the spots in and around Leh. Major tourist attractions to cover will be Spituk Gompa, Sindhu Ghat, 3 idiot Rancho school, Druk Padma shey, Stok Palace and Central Asian Museum and Market. Return to hotel for Overnight stay.

• Day 7 : LEH – KHARDONG LA – NUBRA (160 KMS / 5-6 HRS)

  Early in the Morning, check out from the hotel and head on to Nubra Valley. We will drive by the famous Khardong La which is one of the highest motorable passes in the world situated at an altitude of 5359m. Other places to cover enroute will be Deskit & Hunder Villages. While visiting these villages do not forget to take a ride on Double hump Bactarian camels (ride on your own). Reach the destination and spend the night in pre-booked camps.

• Day 8 : NUBRA – LEH RETURN

  After taking the delicious breakfast drive back to Leh while enroute covering Sumoor Gompa. This colourful gompa set in the midst of rough mountains and scanty trees makes the landscape even more picture perfect. Reach Leh and check into the hotel. Dinner & overnight stay.

• Day 9 : LEH – CHANG LA PASS – PANGONG (222 KMS/ 8-9 HRS)

  After taking Breakfast, check out from the hotel and pass through one of the Highest Motorable road in the world i.e. Changla Pass (5360 m) to reach Pangong Lake (4350 m). The clear water of this lake reflects sky color giving it a effect of changing colors from blue to turquoise/ light pink and so on throughout the day & night. Another amazing fact about this lake is that it freezes completely during winters despite being saline. Overnight stay will be in Pangong camps.

• Day 10 : PANGONG – LEH RETURN

  Packup your luggage and drive back to Leh. Enroute places to cover will be Hemis Monastery, Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace. Reach the town and spend a comfortable night stay in hotel.

  Today is the day to say goodbye to the land of mysterious and proceed to sarchu (4290 m). Reach the destination by evening and enjoy your stay at Sarchu Camps.

  After taking breakfast, depart for Manali. Reach Manali by late evening while enroute covering Rohtang Pass, Keylong, Baralacha & Taglang La, Skyangchu Thang and Indus valley. Arrive and check into the hotel. Dinner & Overnight Hotel will be at hotel.
