Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Warm Welcome

  Our experienced exciting guide will give you a warm welcome to Uganda at Entebbe airport. Straight from Airport you will feel our friendliness. Feel the wonderful fresh weather and see part of the second largest Lake in the World Lake Victoria. While at the Hotel of your choice, our driver guide will brief you about the whole your safari that Able Safaris is offering you.
• Day 2 : Journey to Fortportal

  After a relaxed breakfast we will transfer to Fort Portal rests in the shadow of the fabled 鈥淢ountains of the Moon鈥� and is famous for the many tea plantations. Here we will explore some small lakes, before heading to our accommodation for tonight. Dinner and overnight at Mountains of the Moon Hotel/Fort Motel.
• Day 3 : Hike Rwenzori Mountains

  After breakfast you will drive straight to Rwenzori Mountains to start hiking to Nyabitaba camp for overnight 2650 M 5 hrs
• Day 4 : Hike to John Matte Camp 3500m 7 Hrs Walk

  Hike to John matte camp 3500M 7 hrs walk
• Day 5 : Elena Camp

  Hike to Elena camp snow line point(4500M) 7 hrs walk
• Day 6 : Climb Margherita

  Climb margherita and come down through Irine lakes and continue to John matte camp for overnight
• Day 7 : Back to Fortportal

  Descend to Ibanda kasese and continue to Fort portal then to Mountains of the Moon hotel for an overnight.
• Day 8 : Fortportal - Bwindi / Nkuringo

  Looking in the eye of the gorilla will be the highlight of the whole safari! Especially hikers will love the tracking in the beautiful ecosystem of the park. Expect to walk a long distance in steep and muddy conditions, sometimes with rain overhead, before you encounter any gorillas. But it will definitely be worthwhile as you observe them closely while they eat, play and rest. A unique and unforgettable experience! Dinner and overnight at Nkuringo Gorilla Camp.
• Day 9 : Gorilla Tracking

• Day 10 : Gorilla Tracking

  You will have a second day Gorilla tracking giving you another opportunity to look in the eye of the Gorilla. Dinner and overnight at Nkuringo Gorilla Camp.
• Day 11 : Bwindi - Kampala

  You will drive to Protea Hotel Kampala/Cassia Lodge/Namirembe Guest House for an overnight. BB
• Day 12 : Half Day Visit to Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary

  You will have a half day visit to Ngamba Island either in the morning or in the afternoon. Overnight at Protea Hotel Entebbe/Boma Guest House/Central Inn Entebbe. BB
• Day 13 : Departure

  Continue to Entebbe airport for your flight.
