Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Cochin - Kumarakom

Arrive Cochin and drive to Kumarakom. Transfer to hotel Coconut Lagoon. Sunset cruise on a Rice Boat. Overnight Kumarakom. Evening cooking demo at the hotel.
Day 2 : Kumarakom

Morning short cruise to "Philip Kutty's Farm" (A small home stead on an island). See the cultivation of various tropical fruits and vegetables and also a short demo of simple home cooking followed by lunch. Return to hotel Coconut Lagoon. Overnight in Kumarakom. Evening cooking demo at the hotel.
Day 3 : Kumarakom

Morning free. Afternoon demonstration of preparation of a "Sadhya" (vegetarian wedding feast) Lunch would be sadhya - food served on banana leaf (to be eaten by hand). Stay at Coconut Lagoon. Evening cooking demo at the hotel.
Day 4 : Kumarakom - Periyar

Drive to Periyar via Manimala, near Kanjirappally Plantation visit followed by typical home lunch. Short demo of home cooked food. One can also avail the plucking, rubber tapping, toddy tapping, swimming in river Pampa. Arrive Periyar and transfer to hotel Spice Village. Evening cooking demo at the hotel.
Day 5 : Periyar

Morning visit Spice Plantation tour including Ayurvedic plants and Tea Plantation. Evening boat ride on Lake Periyar. Overnight in Periyar.
Day 6 : Periyar

Morning free. Evening cooking demo at the hotel.
Day 7 : Peryar - Cochin

Drive to Cochin and transfer to hotel Brunton Boat Yard Evening boat ride
Day 8 : Cochin

Morning city tour of Cochin including the ancient Spice Market at Mattancherry and Chinese Fishing Nets."History" lunch at Brunton Boatyard. Evening Kathakali performance. Overnight Cochin.

Day 9 : Cochin

Morning free. Evening cooking demo in a private Kerela house followed by dinner.
Day 10 : Departure Cochin.

Transfer to airport to board flight for onward journey

The ideal company to assist in arranging your perfect visit to India We began our most enjoyable and exciting Indian adventure by staying at the Jyoti Mahal Hotel, wrapping up our travels there as well, with return visits in between at varying points on our itinerary, which included Kashmir, Chennai and Kerala and which was expertly and professionally arranged for us by Indo Tours & Travel. Some of the highlights of our trip were the times we stayed on houseboats, both in Kashmir and Kerala, and the hill station county of Munnar in Kerala. It was at Jyoti Mahal that we were introduced to Mr. Baljeet Jii, through our excellent points of contact, Mr. Bilal (Bill) Boktoo and Mr. Asif Sameer, managers with the company "Indo Tours & Travel". They helped plan our trip with smooth and worry-free connections, airport and taxi pick-up at various locations, and arranged drivers to and from other venues and sight-seeing. (Bill and Asif are deserving )

インドに6ヶ月滞在中、2度旅行に行きました。1度目は南インド、2度目は北インドに行きました。2回ともこちらの会社にお世話になり、最高の旅になりました。メールの返信が早く、電話での対応も迅速でした。仕事で忙しく、飛行機、ホテルなどの予約する時間がなかった私たちにとって、行きたい場所を伝えただけで、飛行機、電車、車、ホテルの予約、すべて行ってくれたのは、大変ありがたかったです。こちらの会社はデリーにあります。2度目の旅では、行き先にデリーを含んでいたので、シンさんに実際にお会いすることができました。シンさんは気さくな方で、日本語が流暢であるのがとても印象的でした。次回、またインドに来る際は、こちらの旅行会社を利用したいです。
