Situated in and around Pune, these eight holy abodes are a part of one pleasurable travel package. The eight temples are famous for their eight different effigies that are sculpted by nature and are absolutely unique. 鈥淎shta Vinayak鈥� is represented by these eight Swayambhu effigies. These sacred idols are the major attractions of the Ashtavinayak Yatra. 鈥淎shta鈥� meaning eight in Sanskrit and 鈥淰inayak鈥� a popular name of Lord Ganesh form the existence of the Ashtavinayak. These temples and places around them are considered to have witnessed numerous miraculous episodes of the Puranas and various other legends. In fact, the Shastras have also mentioned an appropriate sequence to conduct visits to these shrines.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Pune To Ozar

  Day 01 : Morning Departure from Pune followed by en-route breakfast. After breakfast, proceed to Morgaon (Mayureshwar Ganpati) ; the first Ganapati in Ashtavinayak. Post darshan, proceed to Siddhatek (Siddhivinayak Ganapati鈥檚 darshan), have lunch en-route and proceed to Theur for Chintamani Ganapati鈥檚 darshan. Thereafter to Ranjangaon (Maha Ganapati鈥檚 darshan) and further to Ozar for Vighneshwar Ganapati鈥檚 darshan. Overnight stay at Ozar/ Lenyadri ganpati..

• Day 2 : Ozar To Pune

  Day 02 : Early morning proceed to Lenyadri (Girijatmaj Ganapati) situated on a hill. Post breakfast, proceed to Mahad (Varadvinayak Ganapati鈥� darshan). Thereafter en-route lunch & start to Pali for Ballaleshwar Ganapati鈥檚 darshan. Proceed to Pune. Night Arrival at Pune.
