This tour of 06 Nights / 07 Days is a journey through some of the most fascinating gems of Northeast India. Ecstatic Gangtok to wondrous Kalimpong and enchanting Darjeeling, the tour offers great destinations for a pleasurable and memorable holiday.

Gangtok is an amazing city which serves as the capital of Sikkim. Located at an altitude of 5,410 feet, Gangtok boasts of great views of Mt. Kanchenjunga, the third highest mountain in the world. You will get to experience a variety of Gangtok attractions such as attractive landscapes, waterfalls, forests and mixed culture.

Famed as one of the stunning hill stations of West Bengal, Kalimpong lies at an altitude of 1,250 meters. Here you can explore hills, gardens, museums, mountains, colonial-era buildings, villages, Buddhist monasteries many other attractions.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : New Jalpaiguri Railway Station(NJP)/Bagdogra Airport(IXB) – Gangtok (130 km/4 hour drive)

  Arrive at NJP/Bagdogra, and you will be warmly received by our representative. He will then drive you to Gangtok (1437 m), the capital city of Sikkim. Upon arrival at Gangtok check in at the hotel. Freshen up and relax for some time. In the evening, take a relaxed walk on the MG Marg, the main street of Gangtok. Overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 2 : Gangtok full day sightseeing

  Post breakfast, get ready to explore the attractions of Gangtok. We will first visit the Bakthang Waterfalls where you can enjoy cascading water and green surroundings. Click some good pictures here. After some refreshment at the waterfall head for Tashi viewpoint. It is a perfect place to capture stunning views of the Mt. Kanchenjunga, the third highest mountains in the world. The next on the list is Ganesh Tok, a Hindu temple set amidst hilly and lovely surroundings. Then proceed to Enchey Monastery which is held in high regard by Buddhists.
  
  Next, plunge into adventure by embarking on a cable car ride (Ropeway). After that visit, the other famous attractions of Gangtok- Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom, Do Drul Chorten Stupa, Institute of Tibetology, Flower Show, and Banjhakri Falls. After the sightseeing, go back to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 3 : Gangtok (Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir)

  Get ready for an exciting day today! Begin your journey early morning at around 8 and reach Tsomgo Lake, a must-visit attraction of Sikkim. It is a sacred lake nestled at an elevation of 3750 m. Its surroundings are picturesque. In winter it looks fabulous as it gets covered with snow. Next destination on the list is Baba Harbhajan Mandir which is dedicated to a brave Indian soldier, Baba Harbhajan Singh who sacrificed his life while performing his duty. Post-excursion, come back to the hotel in Gangtok. Overnight stay at the hotel.
  
  Optional Tour: You can visit Nathula Pass on the same day at an additional cost.
  
  Nathula Pass is captivating motorable mountain pass of India. It is located at an altitude of 14,140 feet and has also served as an important trade route between India and Tibet.

• Day 4 : Gangtok – Kalimpong (73 Km/3 hour drive)

  Post breakfast, we will drive you to Kalimpong. Check in at the hotel. The remaining day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 5 : Kalimpong half day sightseeing tour and transfer to Darjeeling (57 Km/3 hour drive)

  After a delicious breakfast, get ready for the local sightseeing tour of Kalimpong. We will first visit Deolo Hill which is a stunning parkland spread over 8 acres and has flawlessly manicured gardens blooming with colourful flowers. Its surroundings are equally gorgeous as they offer fascinating views of Kanchenjunga.
  
  The beautiful Durpin Dara hill with Jang Dong Palriffo Brang Monastery and a valley with a river passing through it are the other attractions here. The Deolo Hill also houses a Science Centre where you can witness a variety of scientific objects. Next attraction is the Cactus Nursery with a variety of flowers. Post sightseeing, get transferred to Darjeeling. Overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 6 : Darjeeling full day sightseeing

  Darjeeling beckons you to experience and enjoy its wonderful tourist attractions. So start early morning at around 4 am to visit the famous Tiger Hill which is located at an altitude of 2590 m. Many tourists and locals come here to capture breathtaking views of the sunrise over majestic Kanchenjunga.
  
  After spending some quality time here head for the Batasia Loop, a spiral railway track offering a 360-degree view of the enthralling landscape of Darjeeling and its mountain peaks. Other Darjeeling attractions in the schedule are Japanese Temple, Tenzing Rock, Peace Pagoda and Chitrey Tea Garden(outer view). Evening at leisure. You can take a stroll on Mall Road.

• Day 7 : Darjeeling – New Jalpaiguri Railway Station(NJP)/Bagdogra Airport(IXB) (88 km/3 hrs drive)

  Check out from the hotel and we will drive you back to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station(NJP)/Bagdogra Airport(IXB) – Gangtok with lovely memories to cherish for long.
