Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival

  Early in the morning, our driver guide picks you up from your
  accommodation in Kampala or Entebbe to start your safari to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in western Uganda. You will drive towards South Western Uganda going through Mpigi (Stop at the Uganda Equator for photo shots), Uganda Equator is an imaginary point where the Northern Hemisphere separates from the Southern Hemisphere, and it鈥檚 a tourist spot for photo taking and handicraft shopping. There are also
  different souvenirs shops at the Equator where you can buy souvenirs. Proceed with the journey have a lunch at Mabara town (50 minutes lunch break). After lunch, you will proceed with the journey as you admire the beautiful gardens, farms and hills of Ankole (amazing scenes). You will arrive at the park in the evening. Check in your accommodation for an overnight rest awaiting the next day鈥檚 amazing Gorilla Trekking.

  Travel time: 10 hours (with 2 stops of the way: Uganda Equator/Mpigi & Lunch/Mbarara Town)

• Day 2 : Nshonji Gorilla Resort

  Get breakfast and be escorted to the park offices to begin your adventure. You will get some briefing from a local guide and then set off to the forest equipped with packed lunch. The time taken is between 3- 8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. Coming face to face with these mountain gorillas is one of the most electrifying experiences you can ever have. You will have a chance to observe and take pictures and you will
  enjoy them from a close range observing adults feeding, groaning and resting as the youngsters play and move backward and forward in a pleasantly comical demonstration. After trekking, return to the lodge for your. You may use the evening for a community tour by visiting the pygmies and other local people.

• Day 3 : Mbarara - Departure

  Start the day with an early breakfast and then set off across the
  beautiful hills of Kabale as you return to Kampala. Lunch enroute (Mbarara or Masaka Town) from where you will proceed to Kampala making a brief stopover at Mpambire traditional handicraft makers and the Uganda Equator again if you happen to have missed it on Day 1. Arrive in Kampala in the evening. You will choose where the driver should transfer, either to drop you in Kampala or Entebbe.
