Ladakh is a region administered by India as a union territory and constitutes an eastern portion of the larger Kashmir region that has been the subject of a dispute between India and Pakistan since 1947 and India and China since 1959.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Leh .

  On arrival at Kushok Bakula Rin poche Airport, Leh. Transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day you require to take a complete rest for acclimatized to arid high altitude of Leh. Overnight stay at Leh. Overnight stay in Leh.

• Day 2 : Leh( Local sightseeing )

  After breakfast drive to Sham Valley which is replete with unique places, Hall of Fame War Museum dedicated to the Indian soldiers.. Pathar Sahib Gurudwara one of the most sacred places for Sikhs. Then it is time to move the famed Magnetic Hill also known as Gravity Hill where vehicles defy the force of gravity. A key attraction is the grand Spituk Monastery dating to the 11th
  century while here to see the statues of Lord Buddha. Indus Valley, Sangam. In the evening will enjoy the sunset point Shanti Stupa built by Japanese monks to promote world peace. Overnight stay at Leh.

• Day 3 : Leh to KhardungLa Pass to Nubra Valley.

  After breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass which at 18,380 ft. One of the highest motorable roads in the world. (Wear sufficient warm clothes as the drive takes you pass khardung La) The valley is on the trade route from Leh to Kharga via Saser Karakoram passes. on arrival check in Camp. Afternoon visit Diskit Monastery the huge 106 ft. high statue of Maitreya Buddha a top a hill. Hunder Village and Cold desert the only place in India where twin humped camels are found. You can enjoy a camel ride here (Camel ride on direct payment basis). Overnight stay at Nubra.

• Day 4 : Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake.

  After breakfast drive to Pangong Lake one of the largest high altitude lakes in the world and highest salt water lake, The crystal blue waters of the Pangong Lake impeccable reflect the brown mountains around making for a picture perfect post card. There are lot of rare birds and wild animals in the vicinity. The lake at 14,500 ft is the largest in Asia and its water stretch for more than

• Day 5 : Pangong Lake to Leh ( via Chang La.)

On the way cross the approximately 17,950 feet high Chang La one of the highest mountain passes in the world. En-route visit Thiksey Monastery continue drive to Hemis monastery a Himalayan Buddhist monastery which is believed to be the wealthiest and the biggest monastery in Leh. On arrival check in your hotel. Overnight stay at Leh.
