Located on the banks of the River Gomti in Gujarat, Dwarka is one the most desired pilgrimage sites in India. Hence, Dwarka is home to a good number of temples and pilgrimage sites. Dwarka was a part of the ancient kingdom of Krishna and Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, is also located in Dwarka. For these reasons, it enjoys a remarkable religious significance and attracts thousands of pilgrims all year round. The beachside and the seashores are an added tourist attraction. Somnath, literally meaning 'lord of the moon' is a pilgrim center and is home to one of the 12 Jyotirlingas. It is a town which derives much of its identity from the mythology, religion, and legends that surround it. Primarily a temple town, Somnath is a place where a strong scent of religion and legends lingers around tourism and even daily life. Its spiritual environment is ornamented by the huge number of temples in the area, however, Somnath also offers beaches, museums and other attractions.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Jamnagar - Dwarka(130K.M/ 2:30 hrs )

Later that day proceed to visit Nageshwar Jyotirling, Nageshwar Jyotirling holds a great religious significance as it is one of the 12 prominent Jyotirlings of Lord Shiva across the nation. Later, come back to the hotel for a restful sleep.

• Day 2 : Dwarka - Veraval somnath (230 K.M/4:30 hrs)

  Today morning After breakfast Check out from hotel and proceed towards Somnath to experience serenity by visiting places with great religious importance to the Hindu tourists. Somnath Temple is another prominent Jyotirling out of the 12 present in the country. After that proceed to visit Along with the world-famous Somnath Temple, the Somnath Beach also forms an essential part of the itinerary of a tourist visiting Gujarat. Complete your day on a relaxing note by watching the light and sound show and also attending the aarti at the Somnath Temple. Afterwards, return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.
