The Panchchuli Base Camp Trip is the shortest, safest, and most straightforward trek in Kumaon. Before arriving at the Panchchuli Glacier, the 35–40 km hike travels past the settlements of Urthing, Bongling, Syela, Nangling, Baling, and Dugtu-Dantu in the Darma Valley. At the settlement of Dugtu-Dantu on the final circuit, one is treated to the magnificent Panchchuli sight, which gets its name from its five peaks. The glacier extends from this range by 5 kilometres in length and width. From the settlement of Dugtu-Dantu, a 4-kilometre hike takes you to the glacier's foot.

• Day 1 : dharchula

  morning tea breakfast at dharchula. Proceed to darma valley baling village by transport. Lunch, evening tea, dinner and N/H at baling village

• Day 3 : soan village

  morning tea, breakfast at baling village. Proceed to soan village, lunch as home stay arrangement. Evening tea, dinner and N/H at soan village.

  • Themes Trekking
• Day 4 : panchachuli

  Morning tea, breakfast at soan village, proceed to panchachuli glacier and back to soan village (4+4 km.by trek), lunch evening tea, dinner, N/H at soan village.

  • Themes Trekking
• Day 5 : dharchula

  morning tea, breakfast at soan village. Proceed to dharchula lunch, urthing, evening tea, dinner, N/H at dharchula. (Next day after breakfast tour conclude)
