Package Overview

Explore the famous ancient citadel of Machu Picchu in only one day by our one day Machu Picchu tour by train. We first begin in the beautiful Ollantaytambo, surrounded by ruins atop the mountains and take the train from to Aguas Calientes. The train follows the Urubamba River all the way through cloud forest that surrounds Machu Picchu.

You will travel two hours on a scenic train ride traversing through the high Andes, cloud forest, and towering mountains until you reach Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town).

Upon arrival to Aguas Calientes you will take a 25 minute bus ride up to Machu Picchu where you will enjoy a 2 and a half hour extensive tour by our expert guide. This is a perfect option to get the full experience of Machu Picchu and learn of Inca history in just one day!
Our guide will provide you with a pre-trek briefing at your hotel 1 or 2 days before we depart. Whilst we always aim to provide as much information as possible, this also gives you the opportunity to ask questions about the trek, your crew or the areas we’ll be visiting.Breakfast and lunch
