Day 1 : ARRIVE GUWAHATI

Arrive Guwahati and transfer to your hotel. Afternoon/Evening visit to the Kamakhya Temple, on Nilachal hill, 08 kms west of Guwahati city, is one of the most venerated shaktipeeths in India. The temple is dedicated to goddess Kamakhya an incarnation of Sati. It is on Nilachal hill, says the Shiva Purana, that the yoni or creative organ of Sati fell when Vishnu, in a bid to save the world from the Shiva鈥檚 tandava nrittya or dance of destruction, cut her dead body into 51 pieces with his suddarshan chakra. The garbhagriha deep inside the temple, marks the sacred spot and is kept covered with red silken cloth. O/n hotel.
Day 2 : GUWAHATI - SHILLONG (ABOUT 110 KMS / 02-03 HRS)-

After breakfast drive to Shillong. Arrive Shillong and transfer to hotel. Afternoon visit to the St. Catholic Cathedral, Golf Course & followed by a visit to the Mall road. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3 : SHILLONG- CHERRAPUNJI (ABOUT 62 KMS/ 02 HRS.)-

Morning after breakfast and visit of this village proceed to Cherrapunji. Arrive Cherrapunji and visit Mawsmai Cave, Khasi Monoliths, Koh Ramhah, Seven sisters water fall (one of the longest in India). Later transfer to your hotel/resort for overnight stay. Evening free for your own.
Day 4 : CHERRAPUNJI

Today after breakfast we get ready for a half day trek with our expert guide to visit the Double Decker Living Root Bridge deep inside the jungle. All together it will take2-3 hrs.(depending on the physical fitness of the person) one way to reach the site. This trek is partially by rocky steps, ramp & trails. Enjoy picnic lunch near the stream. Later trek back to your hotel/resort. Evening free of your own.
Day 5 : CHERRAPUNJI-GUWAHATI (ABOUT 160 KMS/4-5 HRS.)-

Morning after breakfast drive back to Guwahati and straight transfer to airport for your onward flight to Delhi or Kolkata. END OF OUR SERVICES.聽
