Delhi, India鈥檚 capital territory, is a massive metropolitan area in the country鈥檚 north. In Old Delhi, a neighborhood dating to the 1600s, stands the imposing Mughal-era Red Fort, a symbol of India, and the sprawling Jama Masjid mosque, whose courtyard accommodates 25,000 people. Nearby is Chandni Chowk, a vibrant bazaar filled with food carts, sweets shops and spice stalls.
Agra is a city in northern India鈥檚 Uttar Pradesh state. It's home to the iconic Taj Mahal, a mausoleum built for the Mughal ruler Shah Jahan鈥檚 wife, Mumtaz Mahal (who died in childbirth in 1631)
Jaipur is the capital of India鈥檚 Rajasthan state. It evokes the royal family that once ruled the region and that, in 1727, founded what is now called the Old City, or 鈥淧ink City鈥 for its trademark building color.
Udaipur, formerly the capital of the Mewar Kingdom, is a city in the western Indian state of Rajasthan. Founded by Maharana Udai Singh II in 1559, it鈥檚 set around a series of artificial lakes and is known for its lavish royal residences.
Day 1 : Arrive Delhi
Upon arrival at international Airport/ Railway station in Delhi you will be welcomed by our representative then later drive to hotel. After fresh up proceed for local sight seeing of Delhi
Day 2 : Delhi sight seeing
After an early breakfast take combined sightseeing tour of OLD & NEW Delhi, visiting Old Delhi - the majestic Red Fort, a marvel in red sandstone, Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India, both built by emperor Shah Jahan of Taj Mahal fame, Rajghat - memorial of Mahatma Gandhi & a Rickshaw ride past through the silver street in Chandani Chowk, Later New Delhi - to include Rashtrapati Bhawan, one-time imperial residence of the British viceroys, the India Gate, a memorial raised in honour of the Indian soldiers martyred during the Afghan war, the Laxmi Narayan Temple also known as Birla Temple, built by the Birlas, one of India's leading industrial families, Humayun's Tomb, lotus shaped Bhai's Temple, Akshardham Temple, Qutub Minar, built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty, in the evening you can visit to see light an sound show at Red fort. Return to the hotel for overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3 : Delhi - Agra
After Breakfast proceed for Agra. Arrive at Agra in afternoon and proceed to witness incomparable Taj Mahal with its' speculative view at the time of SunSet. Taj Mahal - the architectural modern day wonder of the world, this monument is a fine example of the fusion of many architectural styles is one of the wonders of the modern world. Taj, endowed it with some of the loveliest buildings in the world. Overnight at hotel in Agra
Day 4 : Agra 鈥 Jaipur (230kms - 5hours)
After Breakfast proceed to visit to the Agra Fort ( Red Fort ) from where one can get the most moving view of the Taj from the little octagonal tower in the Agra Fort, which lies, across the river Jamuna. Later visit the Pearl Mosque and the Tomb of Itamad-ud-Daula built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father. Continue your drive to Jaipur enroute visiting the Old Deserted Town of Mughal Dynasty - Fathepur Sikri, visit Panch Mahal, Bulund Darwaza & Shrine of Shaikh Salim Chisti. Later continue to Jaipur. On arrival transfer to hotel. After a relaxation in the evening visit to Birla Temple, speculator marble temple, glitters in the in the night, onwards at the time of dinner visit to Chokhi Dhani - an ethnic 5 star resort serving Rajasthani & Continental cuisine with live music, astrology, games, folk dances and music, puppet shows in an ambiance of an ethnic village. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 5 : Jaipur
After an early breakfast in hotel explore the Pink City with an excursion to Amber Fort, situated just outside the city, enjoy the experience of travelling on elephant back to and from the top of the hill on which the fort is situated. Afternoon sightseeing tour of City Palace in the heart of Jaipur is known for its blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Not far away is the Central Museum. Jantar Mantar is the largest of the five observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh. The Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds was constructed for the royal ladies to watch the royal processions without being seen, all monuments are located in the vicinity of City Palace Complex of Jaipur. Later late afternoon is kept free to visit the famous Markets of Textiles, Gems, Carpets, and handicrafts. Jaipur is an ideal place for buying souvenirs. One can also visit Nahargarh Fort to see it illuminated over the floodlights. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 6 : JAIPUR - UDAIPUR
After breakfast drive to Udaipur. On arrival at Udaipur check into hotel. . In the evening you will enjoy a leisurely boat ride on LAKE PICHOLA (Subject to water level in the lake). With its main attractions being the two palaces on the islands in the lake, Jagniwas and Jagmandir Lake Pichola is about 4 km in length and 3 km wide. Jagniwas was earlier the summer retreat of the prince of Mewar and now a five-star hotel. The city palace extends along the eastern shore of the lake and you can go for a boat ride from Bansi Ghat. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 7 : IN UDAIPUR
Udaipur is also a centre of historic arts and crafts of Mewar, like the Mewar School of Miniature Painting. There is of course the modern face of Udaipur that one can look at if interested, but given the other sights from a glorious past, modernity is no real distraction. This is a place that will hold you in its thrall no matter whom you are or where you come from.
During a guided tour you will visit the following: CITY PALACE: Built in 1725, one of the largest, most beautiful palaces in the state of Rajasthan, the grand City Palace is actually a conglomerate of eleven palaces overlooking the sprawling Lake Pichola. It is now a museum, royal residence and a luxury hotel. This intricately designed monument is an architectural wonder in granite and marble.
JAGDISH TEMPLE: It was built in 1651 by Maharaja Jagat Singh. This temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is located in the centre of the old city. The temple has a black marble image of Lord Vishnu, which is unusual for the northern part of the country, where statues of Gods are normally in marble.
FATEH SAGAR originally built in 1678 by Maharana Jai Singh, Fateh Sagar was rebuilt by Maharana Fateh Singh after the rains destroyed the dam. In the middle of the lake is Nehru Park, the garden island. The place also houses a cafe.
Return to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 8 : UDAIPUR 鈥 DEPARTURE
