  Six illustrious citizens of Amsterdam came together on 15 September 1881 to breathe life into the 鈥楶rovisional Committee to build a concert hall鈥�. The building's grand opening was 7 years later on 11 April 1888. During a 75 minutes tour with our English tour guide you can listen to anecdotes drawn from the rich history of the building. Take a look behind the scenes and catch a glimpse of parts of the building that are usually hidden from view. You get access to the attic and the changing rooms, as well as experience the maze of passageways beneath the Main Hall.

• Day 10 : Zermatt-Interlaken

  Proceed to Interlaken from Zermatt by Train and later the great journey starts not far from Interlaken Ost station and leads through a charming forest and through a wildlife park.If Interlaken had a king, he would reside on the Harder Kulm. From the viewing platform at 1,322 metres above sea level, you will graciously look down upon Lake Brienz and Lake Thun, or admire the Eiger, M枚nch, and Jungfrau. Visit the 鈥淭wo-Lakes-Bridge鈥� and an airy viewing platform with a glass area in its floor. Restaurant can't be missed as looks like a small castle and is open also during evening time.In order to visit it, however, you don't need to be a king 鈥� just take a seat in the funicular and ascend Interlaken's own mountain!.   This 7-hour excursion begins with a short coach journey from Interlaken to the mountain resort of Grindelwald.
