Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Bagdogra - Darjeeling (80 km in approximately 3 hours)

  On arrival at the airport take a transfer to your hotel in Darjeeling. On reaching, check-in to your hotel, unpack and relax or you can enjoy the toy train (On direct payment basis). Overnight, stay at the hotel.
  
  
• Day 2 : Darjeeling

  Early morning visit Tiger Hill to see a beautiful sunrise and capture the breth-taking sight of Kangchenjunga and Mount Everest etc. One can see the horizon changing colors just before sunrise and then the entire Himalayan range turns golden. Also visit Ghoom Monastery, the oldest monastery in the area which was built in 1875. Have a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel and proceed for city tour visiting Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursday) which was started by Tenzing Norgay after he climbed Mt. Everest. Also visit Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed on Sunday), Tenzing Rock, Gombu Rock and Happy Valley Tea Estate (from outside). Retire comfortably for the night at the hotel.

• Day 3 : Darjeeling to Gangtok (100 km in approximately 4 hours)

  Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel and drive to Gangtok en route visiting Teesta Village. On reaching, check-in to your hotel, unpack and relax. Set out for a sightseeing tour of the city and visit Deer Park and Flower Show Complex. Surrounded by monasteries and orchids, Gangtok is truly a traveler鈥檚 delight. Spend your night at the hotel comfortably.
• Day 4 : Gangtok

  Have breakfast at the hotel and proceed for half day city tour visiting Rumtek Monastery, Saramsa Garden, Do Drul Chorten, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sundays), and Cottage Industry (closed on Sundays). Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 5 : Gangtok

  Enjoy a warm breakfast at the hotel and proceed for a full day excursion to Changu Lake which is 35 km from Gangtok at an altitude of 12,400 feet. The lake derives its waters from melting snows off the surrounding mountains. Legends say that lamas could forecast the future by studying the color of the lake鈥檚 waters. Also visit the Baba Mandir and Nathula Pass. Stay overnight at your hotel in Gangtok.
• Day 6 : Day 06: Gangtok - Pelling (110 Km)

  After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Pelling. Located at a distance of 120 kilometres from Gangtok, Pelling is another serene, mountain village which lies in the western districts of Sikkim. This village is situated at an altitude of 2000 metres. On arrival check into hotel and visit Khecheopalri Lake, Sewaro Rock Garden, Rimbi Waterfalls, Singshore Bridge, and other places. Overnight, stay at the hotel in Pelling.
  
  NOTE: In Pelling, tourists will get only basic facilities in hotels and we recommend not to expect any luxury as both are very remote areas. Heater is available at hotel on direct payment basis only.
  
• Day 7 : Pelling 鈥� Kalimpong (85 Km)

  Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and drive to Kalimpong. Proceed for an afternoon sightseeing tour in Kalimpong visiting Zang Dog Palri Fo Brang Monastery, Tharpa Choling Monastery, Thongsa Gumpa and flower nurseries. Spend your night at the hotel comfortably.
• Day 8 : Kalimpong - Bagdogra (80 km in approximately 3 hours)

  Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and drive to Bagdogra airport for your return journey.
