Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Leh Meals: Breakfast & dinner

  Take the first whiff of this spectacular mountain city as you step out into 10000 feet plus terrain.
  
  Arrival LehKushokBakula Airport (This must be one of the Most Sensational Flights in The World. On a clear day from one side of the aircraft can be seen in the distance the peaks of K2, Nanga Parbat, Gasherbrum and on the other side of the aircraft, so close that you feel you could reach out and touch it, is the Nun Kun massif.)
  
  Upon arrival at Leh Airport you'll received and welcomed by Travel Himalayas representative and transfer to the Hotel for Check in. Post breakfast Rest of the day at leisure to rest and acclimatization.
  
  Later in the afternoon post briefing of the Tour we visit Shanti Stupa, A magnificent white-domed structure, The Japanese for World Peace built the Shanti Stupa, at Changspa, on the hilltop, and was inaugurated by Dalai Lama in 1985. The stupa looks best at night, when it is beautifully illuminated with glittering lights. A large number of tourists come to Ladakh every year to visit this amazing stupa. Also visit the LehMarket . • Day 2 : Leh (Shey, Thiksey, Hemis&Stok) Meals: Breakfast & dinner

  Today we proceed for Indus Valley monastery tour. By starting a visit to Shey the ancient capital of Ladakh. The monastery here has a huge gold-gilded statue of Buddha Sakyamuni with a large silver lamp burning in front of the statue, built in the memory of King SingeeNamgyal by his son lDeldanNamgyal in 1633 A.D. Then we visit ThikseyGompa an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village. Drive further to visit the famous HemisGompa, This is the largest monastic foundation of Drukpa Kagyu Order of Tibetan Buddhism. Most of the other Drukpa monasteries are the branch monasteries of Hemis. On return we visit Stok Palace lies south south of leh on the opposite side of the singe Tsangspo River. • Day 3 : Leh to Pangong lake (150 Kms / 5 Hrs) Meals: Breakfast & dinner

  Post breakfast we leave for Pangong Lake through Changla pass 5486 Mtrs. While ascending Changla pass 5486 Mtrs. Enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the villages below the pass. After crossing the pass halt the summer pastureland of the yaks. Checkinn Campsite After Lunch A short drive takes you to the western shore of the lake.
  
  PangongLake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). A long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometre at its widest point and over 130km long, it is bisected by the international border between India and China. A few years back the government decided to open it to tourists though the lake and its surrounding is under army surveillance. The tourism department intends to develop the infrastructure and facilitate the route leading to the lake. Enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the Lake. One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable.

• Day 4 : Excursion to Sham Valley (80 Kms round trip) Meals: Breakfast & dinner

  Morning after breakfast drive to Sham Valley (Today you can enjoy the river rafting also.) Enroute visit Magnetic Hill and GurudwaraPatthar Sahib. Visit Confluence of Zanskar and Indus river and drive back to Leh. Just before reaching Leh visit Spituk Monastery (Kali Mata Temple) And Hall of fame.

• Day 5 : Leh (Excursion to Nubra Valley ViaKhardungla Top) Meals: Breakfast & dinner

  After an early breakfast we drive to Khardungla, the highest motor able road in the world at 18,390 ft. is around 39 Kms away from Leh. There are two checkpoints on the both sides of the pass. Khardong is the first village of Nubra valley at higher altitude than Deskit and other villages .The views from the top of the pass are amazing. This road carries on to the NubraValley .CheckinCampsite , Lunch Day is Free for Leisure, Dinner Overnight at Camp.

• Day 6 : Return Leh (Excursion to Nubra Valley ViaKhardungla Top) Meals: Breakfast & dinner

  Nubra Valley (Local Sightseeing) And Back To Leh : After Breakfast, Visit The name Nubra is applied to the region comprising the valley of the river Nubra and that of the Shayok, both above and below their confluence. The route north of Leh crosses over Khardung-la. From the top, one can see all the way south over the Indus valley to the seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range, and north to the giants of the Saser massif. The villages are large and prosperous, and have thick plantations of willow and poplar. The altitude is a little less than that of Leh, varying between 10,000 ft (3,231 m) at Hunder, and 10,600 ft (3231 m) at Panamik. Summer temperatures vary between 15oC and 28oC. The main village is Deskit, 120 kms from Leh, which has a bazaar comprising of single line of shops, and a 500 year old gompa situated on a rocky spur above the village with a commanding view. From Deskit, the route follows the course of the Shayok to Hunder, past an area of rolling sand dunes, with their contours liable to shift with every gale. There is a small population of the shaggy double-humped Bactrian camels, which in the old days were used as pack animals on the Central Asian trade route. Today visitors to Nubra can use these animals for going on camel safaris. About 7 km from Diskit; Hunder is a pretty village, set among lots of trees and gurgling streams. It is the farthest point till where civilians are allowed.Diskit, Sumoor&Hunder Villages and Proceed To the Farthest Permissible Point Up to the Indo-China Border (Panamik Hot Springs) the last village on this circuit, is a sleepy village, its inhabitants quietly going about their work in the fields. On the mountainside above the village, hot water bubbles out of the earth in thermal springs, reputed to have therapeutic qualities. Across the river, clinging to the mountains, are a few trees rooted among the rocks surrounding the tiny Ensagompa..
  
  Drive Back To Leh via Khardungla Pass. Overnight Stay in Leh
