Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Kolkata/ Delhi to Paro. Paro to Thimphu (65 Km./ 2.30 hrs)

  Welcome to Bhutan Tour Package from Kolkata – with Gangtey & Phobjikha Valley. On arrival at Paro airport from Kolkata/ Delhi meet & greet by Navigator India’s representative. Transfer from Paro to Thimpu, the capital city of Bhutan. Check into hotel & rest of the day is t leisure.

• Day 2 : Thimphu sightseeing

  Drive for a full day Thimphu sightseeing starting with Tashicho Dzong, the hose of most of the govt. offices. Proceed to National Library houses some exclusive collection of Buddhist manuscripts & texts as well as the modern literatures, Zorig Chusm the school of traditional handicrafts & arts. Visit Institute of Tibetology, handicraft emporium & the National Memmorial Chorten. Overnitht at Thimpu.

• Day 3 : Thimphu to Punakha, Wangdu & Dochu La Pass

  Proceed for a full day esc to Punakha (Approx 90km/ 3 Hours From Thimphu). Punakha is the capital of Punakha Dzongkhag districts of Bhutan. Punakha was the capital of Bhutan till 1955. it is the most beautiful city in your Bhutan tour package from kolkata. Wangdue Phodrang is a town and capital (dzongkhag thromde) of Wangdue Phodrang District in central Bhutan. En-route Dochu la Pass. The pass is a popular among the tourists because of its 360 degree panoramic view of Himalayan range. The place is worth going in clear winter days with magnificent view of snowcapped mountains and mountain pass. Overnight at Punakha/ Wangdu.

• Day 4 : Excursion to Gangtey Monastery & Phobjikha Valley

  After your breakfast start your tour to Gangtey Monastery. Enjoy your drive through dense rhododendron & oak forest. Gangtey Monastery belongs to Nyingmapa sect of Buddhisn. It is situated in a pristine & beautiful valley in Western Bhutan. The monastery is named after Gangtey Village. Just a few kilometer away from Gangtey Monastery there is Phobjikha Valley. It is a bowl shaped glacial valley with an area of approx 163 sq.Km & lies approx 3000 meter above sea lavel. The valley is rich in biodiversity. Phobjikha Valley is winter home to black-necked cranes & many other endangered spices of the world. Drive back to Punakha/Wangdu for your overnight stay.

• Day 5 : Punakha/Wangdu to Paro (130km./ 4hrs)

  After breakfast chock out from your hotel in Punakha & transfer to Paro. Paro is an wonderful valley in Western Bhutan. The only international airport of Bhutan lies in Paro. Paro airport in considered onne of the most beautiful airport in the world at an elevation of 5,500 meter. Afternoon free at leisure. Overnight stay at Paro.

• Day 6 : Paro sightseeing

  Proceed for a full day sight seeing of Paro another inmertent destination in Bhutan. Today you will visit Drukgyal Dzong, View of Taktsang Monastery, Kichulanka Monastery, Ta Dzong, Paro Rinpung Dzong (Museum), Nya-Mey Zam, Dungtse Lhankhang, Kila Gompa, Druk Choeding. Overnight at Paro.
