After breakfast proceed for full day city tour of New and Old Delhi.
New Delhi : Built in a typically British colonial style with tree-lined avenues and colonial bungalows. See the Laxminarayan Temple, a modern Hindu temple, and India Gate, the 42 m high War Memorial Arch. Drive past the Parliament House, the Secretariat buildings and the Vice Regal Palace, now the official residence of the President of India. You will also visit Qutab Minar 鈥 what was intended to be the most glorious tower of victory in the world and was to be the prototype of all minars in India.
Old Delhi : Visit the 17th century Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. See Chandni Chowk, the shopping center of old Delhi and drive past the Red Fort for a photo stop. Visit Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated.

After breakfast drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival check in at hotel in Jaipur.
Jaipur (City of Victory) was founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in 1727. It is the only city in the world symbolizing the nine divisions of the Universe through nine rectangular sectors sub-dividing it. The architect who formalized the city鈥檚 plans on the Shilpa Shastra, the epic Hindu treatise on architecture, mixed it with the sublimity of the Mughal and Jain influences of those times. The city was painted pink in 1853 in honour of the visit by Prince Albert. Except for the busy traffic of bicycles, cars and buses, little seems to have changed.
Early morning proceed for Amber Fort: 11 km from the city. This fort-palace was begun by Raja Man Singh and used by the Rajputs as their stronghold until Sawai Jai Singh II moved to the newly created Jaipur. See the Diwan I Am or hall of public audience, Kali temple, Jai Mandir or hall of victory with its inlaid panels and mirror ceiling, and Sukh Niwas. The fort provides breathtaking views of the lake below.
After tour drive back to hotel for breakfast. Afternoon proceed for half day city tour of Jaipur visiting Maharaja鈥檚 City Palace and the Jantar Mantar Observatory. Jaipur鈥檚 walled City Palace (1732 AD) occupies one-seventh of the city鈥檚 area. See the Mubarak Mahal, museums of textiles and armoury etc, and the Diwan I Khas and Diwan I Am. Jantar Mantar, literally meaning 鈥渋nstruments for measuring the harmony of the heavens鈥 is the oldest in India. Each instrument has a specific purpose and gives an accurate reading.
After breakfast drive to Nawalgarh enroute visiting Samode 鈥 the sleepy village, with its local artisans producing printed cloth and glass bangles, nestles within its old walls. Samode Palace which dominates the village is fabulously decorated with 300-year old wall paintings., many of them depicting religious subjects. The highlight is a vast Durbar Hall with its original paintings and mirror work.. Upon arrival check in at hotel in Jaisalmer.

Nawalgarh : This city is situated about 140 Kms from Jaipur. This is a historical city of Rajasthan. Nawalgarh was founded by thakur Nawal Singh in 1731 AD. The city is famous for its majestic forts and folklores. Nawalgarh is known to posses the highest number of shekhawati havelis. Bansidhar Bhagat Haveli, Roop Niwas Palace, Jodhraj Patodia Haveli, Anandi Lal Poddar, Aath Haveli complex and Chokhani Haveli are some of the renowned forts that are popular among the tourists coming to the territory. Tourists can get a glimpse of Rajasthani archirecture, as well as the rich cultural heritage of the state of Nawalgarh

This desert town in northern Rajasthan was founded in 1488 by Rao Bikaji, a descendant of Jodhaji, the founder of Jodhpur. Like many others in Rajasthan, the old city is surrounded by a high crenellated wall and was once an important staging post on the great caravan routes. The old city with its exquisite merchant havelis, temples and bazaars retains a medieval air. The city is chiefly interesting for its superb large fort, but it is also known for the fine camels bred here. There is a government camel-breeding farm near the city
Afternoon proceed for half day city tour of Bikaner visiting Junagarh Fort (built 1593) with its magnificent stone carving is one of the finest in Rajasthan. See the beautifully designed palaces with interiors decorated with shell-work, mirror and glass inlays, gold leaf, laquer work etc. Highlights include Diwn-I-Khas, Phool Mahal and Chandra Mahal decorated with marble, mirror-work and carvings, Anup Mahal the coronation hall, Gaj Mandir with its mirrored Shish Mahal, and Har Mandir or the royal temple. There is also a museum containing manuscripts, weaponry, jewellery etc.

After breakfast drive to Jaisalmer enroute visiting Gajner 鈥 The sanctuary of Gajner, 30 km west of Bikaner, was once a private reserve of the Bikaner royal family. The lake and forested hills of this reserve are inhabited by wildfowl and a number of deer and antelopes. In winter it attracts a number of migratory birds. Gajner Palace, the former royal winter residence, is situated in serene surroundings on the banks of the lake.
After visit continue your drive to Jaislamer. Upon arrival check in at your hotel in Jaisalmer.
The captivating city of Jaislamer, founded by Prince Jaisal in 1156 AD, has been dubbed Golden City because of the honey colour imparted to its yellow sandstone walls by the setting sun. With the crenellated walls and narrow streets lined with exquisitely carved buildings, it has an extraordinary medieval feel. It was a major post in the desert trade route between India and Central Asia
Overnight at Jaisalmer
After breakfast proceed for half day city tour of Jaisalmer visiting fort built by Rawal Jaisal atop the 80 m high Trikuta hill, where a fourth of the population still lives. Within the fort are also beautifully carved Jain temples of the 12th to the 15th centuries. See Badal Vilas Palace, the former ruler鈥檚 20th century palace. Also visit some impressive merchant mansions (havelis) including Patwon ki Haveli (1805), a five-storey building with carved pillars and murals, Salim Singh and Nathmalji ki Haveli.
Later in the evening proceed for camal ride.
Overnight in Jaisalmer
After breakfast drive to Khimsar enroute visiting Osian : Surrounded by sand dunes, this ancient town 65 km north of Jodhpur contains the largest group of eighth to tenth century Hindu and Jain temples in Rajasthan. The typical Pratihara dynasty temple complex is set on a terrace with finely decorated walls. There are 23 exquisitely sculptured temples in groups north, south, and west of the town. See the 8th century Surya temple with beautifully carved pillars, the Mahavira temple, the Sachiya Mata temple, a living temple of Golden Durga, etc.
After visit continue your drive to Khimsar. Upon arrival check in at Khimsar hotel.
Situated 100 km from Jodhpur, the beautiful hamlet of Khimsar was founded two thousand and five hundred years ago by the great Jain Saint Mahavira. This oasis forms the starting point of the Great Indian Desert. Explore the remote, battle scarred, 16th century moated castle, the Khimsar Fort. Take an evening Jeep Safari to the sand dunes where you can see black bucks. Also enjoy tea & light snacks served at the site.

Rohet village is about 40 kilometers south of Jodhpur. The village offers a 350-year-old house, which has been converted into a delightful heritage hotel lying beside a huge lake. The lake attracts migratory birds during winter. The traditionally decorated hotel organizes safaris into the adjoining villages where you can see weavers, potters and the Bishnois, tribal shepherds. The Bishnoi belief in the sanctity of the environment and the need to protect trees and animals dates from the 15th century.

After breakfast proceed for excursion to Jodhpur. Visit Meherangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone hill. The palace apartments like Sukh Mahal, Phool Mahal, Sheesh Mahal etc are beautifully decorated and house jewellery, costumes, armoury, palanquins, howdahs and other remnants of the past. See the Jaswant Thada, an imposing marble memorial to Maharaja Jaswant Singh II built in 1899.Later the royal crematorium and three other cenotaphs were also built here. Also visit the museum located in the Umaid Bhawan Palace
After visit drive back to Rohet.

After breakfast drive to Mount Abu. Upon arrival check in at hotel in Mount Abu.
At 1200 metres, Mt. Abu is the highest point of the Aravalli Range passing through Rajasthan. The only hill resort of Rajasthan, it is built around a lake and is surrounded by forested hills. According to a legend, the place derives its name from Arbuda, a serpent who descended to the spot to rescue Shiva鈥檚 bull, Nandi. Besides having all the features of a pleasant hill resort, Mount Abu is also a center of pilgrimage for Jains on account of the famous Dilwara Temples. There are interesting treks and picnic spots, romantic royal retreats of various erstwhile royal families, and some relics of the Raj period.

After breakfast proceed for half day city tour of Mount Abu visiting the breathtaking Dilwara temples, among the finest examples of Jain architecture with their superb marble carving. The complex consists of five temples built between the eleventh and thirteenth century. The most interesting of these are the Vimal Vasahi dedicated to Adinath, the 1st Tirthankar, and the Tejpal temple dedicated to Neminath, the 22nd Tirthankar. The intricate ornamental carvings here represent the great heights reached in stone decoration.Also visit Achalgarh fort which has the famous Achaleshwar temple and also provides superb views of the area. Later visit Nakki lake; see the strange rock formations around it including Toad Rock. Enjoy a boat ride on the lake studded with little islets.

After breakfast drive to Udaipur enroute visiting Ranakpur - Ranakpur, about 90 km from Udaipur, is the largest Jain temple complex in India and dates to the 15th century. The main temple is dedicated to Adinath, the first Tirthankar. Intricate carvings detail mythological figures, patterns and motifs on the walls, pillars and domes. There are 1444 ornately carved marble pillars in the complex and none of them are similar. The beautiful lace-like interiors of the domes are a superb example of western Indian temple style. Surya temple and other Jain temples are side attractions. (Temples open only at 1200 Hrs. Leather belts, footwear, bare legs and black clothing not allowed)

Set amidst the Aravalli hills of south Rajasthan, Udaipur (City of Sunrise) is a beautiful city regarded as one of the most romantic in India. Presenting an enchanting image of marble palaces, placid lakes, attractive gardens and green hills, it has been called 鈥渢he Venice of the East鈥. It was founded by Maharana Udai Singh II in 1568 as a traditionally planned, fortified city full of palaces, temples and havelis. The city also became a center for the performing arts, painting and crafts.
Overnight in Udaipur
After breakfast proceed for tour of Eklinji and Nagada - Set in a deep ravine near Eklingji lake, 22 km from Udaipur. The white marble and sandstone Eklingji temple complex dates from 734 AD and is dedicated to Shiva, family deity of the Mewars. The walled complex includes an elaborately pillared hall under a large pyramidal roof, and a four faced Shiva image of black marble. Photography is not allowed. Later visit Nagda to see the ruined 11th century Jain temple of Adbhutji and the Sas Bahu group of temples. These have intricate architecture and carvings on pillars, ceiling and mandapa walls.
Afternoon proceed for haf day city tour of Udaipur visiting City Palace and Museum. The largest palace complex in India, it is a blend of Mughal and Rajput influences. Also see the 17th century Jagdish temple, drive around the Fatehsagar Lake, and visit the Sahelion ki Bari (the Garden for the Maids of Honour), an ornamental pleasure garden with fountains and marble kiosks. Later visit the Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandir or the Folk Art Museum.

Deogarh located 135 km north of Udaipur, is a pleasant and atmospheric town with a relatively cool climate. It has an old fort and a magnificent palace with murals illustrating the fine local school of miniature painting. The pleasant Raghosagar Lake has an island with a romantic ruined temple and tombs, and attracts numerous migratory birds. The Anjaneshwar Mahadev cave temple is believed to be around 2000 years old.

After breakfast drive to Pachewar enroute visiting shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti followed by visit to Pushkar. After visit continue drive to Pachewar. Upon arrival check in at hotel Pachewar.
Pachewar is a small village situated on 25 minutes ride from Dudu, in the southern part of Jaipur. Pachewar is renowned for its Shrine, metal toy markets, blue pottery and interesting ambience of the village. This beautiful place was ruled by Khangarot Rajputs. The biggest of this town is the Pachewar Fort : well saved tranquil fort with its eminent rampat, imposing gates, large balconies and extensive apartments, adorned with unique pictures and delicate beauty. The sightseeing amalgamates a visit to the imperial shrines, built on the banks of Pumpa Sagar Lake and shepherd exposure of the village life.

Traditions ascribes the foundation of the present city of Agra, situated on the banks of Yamuna river, to Raja Badal Singh around 1475 A.D. However the mention of Agraban in the Mahabharata suggests that it has been the sister Of Matura, an ancient city in the vicinity, from a very early period. Sikandar Lodi made this place his capital when the Lodis ruled North India. But according to an ancient legend, the name of Agra is derived from Agrabans of the twelve groves of Brijmandala, where teenager Lord Krishna is said to have sported with his companions.

Taj Mahal : Shahjahan, who was a passionate builder, now decided to erect a memorial marble that the world would never forget. The site was also chosen because it was located on a bend in the river, and so could be seen from Shahjahan's personal palace in Agra Fort, further upstream. The construction of the Taj Mahal started in 1631. It took 20,000 artisans 22 years to complete this poignant mauseoleum that blends subtlety with grandeur, and a massive overall design with immaculately intricate execution.
Agra Fort : The construction of the Agra Fort was begun by Emperor Akbar in 1565. Its massive walls stretch for 2陆 km and are surrounded by a moat over 10 metres wide. The fort is really a city within a city, which embraces the Moti Masjid, the Diwan-i-Am or the Hall of Public Audiences, the Diwan-i-Khas or the Hall of Private Audiences, the Octagonal Tower, Jehangir鈥檚 Palace and many more monuments.
