Package Overview

Ajmer District is surrounded by the Aravalli Mountains. According to Rajputana Gazetteer, Ajmer was held by Chechi Gurjars until about 700 years ago. Pushkar is a town in the Ajmer district in the Indian state of Rajasthan. The legend about the creator god, Bramha describes the creation of this lake when the demon vajra nabhakilled brahma's children, he in turn struck him with his weapon, a lotus flower.

Ajmer attractions

Ana Sagar Lake - It is an artificial lake built by Anaji Chauhan. Spread over 13 km, the lake also comprises Baradari or pavilions that were built by Shah Jahan in 1637.

Brahma Temple - Situated beyond Naga Parbat and the Ana Sagar Lake, the site is considered extremely sacrosanct. Its stature stems from the belief that Lord Brahma, together with all the gods and goddesses performed a Yagna at this site.

Aravali Mountains - located in the base of ranges and a renowned holy spot for both Hindus and Muslims. Because khawaza Garib nawaz dargah and holy pushkar lake is here.

Pushkar attractions

Pushkar Lake - Legend has it that the creation of the lake was the result of a lotus falling off from Lord Brahma's hand who was desperately seeking a place to carry out a religious ceremony and a fire sacrifice popularly known as a Yagna.

Gayatri Temple - Another important temple among the host of 400 temples in the land of Pushkar. Gayatri was another wife of Lord Brahma.

Mahadeva Temple - Pushkar is dedicated to Lord Mahadeva. The god is one of the Hindu Trinity that represents Creation, Sustenance and Destruction.

Saraswati Temple - Saraswati is another wife of Lord Brahma. Literally 'Saraswati' means the flowing one. There are abundant references of Saraswati in the ancient Hindu scriptures and mythology.Any meals other than those mentioned above

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival At Jaipur

  On arrival at Jaipur airport, you鈥檒l be transferred to the hotel in Pushkar (140 kms/3 hours). The city is also famous for its holy lake where people bathe away their sins. The evening is at your leisure in Pushkar, before overnight stay at the hotel.
• Day 2 : Pushkar - Ajmer

  After an early breakfast, depart for the famous Dargah Sharif in Ajmer (15 kms/30 mins). After visiting the Dargah, head back to Pushkar (15 kms/30 mins) to visit the only Brahma temple in the world. After darshan at the temple, take a spiritual walk or bath around the holy Pushkar Lake. Stay overnight at the hotel.

• Day 3 : Departure

  After breakfast, you can visit Pushkar at your own pace. At noon, check out of the hotel and get transferred to Jaipur airport.
