Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Cochin to Munnar - Arrival & Transfer

  Arrival at Cochin airport/ railway station, meet and assistance. Transfer to Munnar . Munnar is 1800 mts above sea level and also the place of South India's highest peak (Anamudi - 2695 mts). On the way visit Valara, On the way, visit Valara and Cheeyappara waterfalls; both of these are seasonal attractions, along with tea plantations. On arrival at Munnar, transfer to the Hotel. Check in at Hotel. Afternoon visit Rajamala (Eravikulam National Park), the best place to see Nilgiri Tahr (Hemitragus Hilarious) - the mountain goat of South India & Tea Museum . Evening have a short visit to Munnar town. You can see the beautiful tea estates like a green paradise.overnight at the hotel.

• Day 2 : Munnar - Full Day Sightseeing

  Morning after breakfast full day visit to Munnar. Mattupetty dam, Echo Point, Kundala Dam, Pothamedu View Point, Blossom Park etc are some of the highlights of the sightseeing. Shopping & overnight at the hotel in Munnar.

• Day 3 : Munnar to Thekkady - Transfer & sightseeing

  After breakfast checkout from the hotel and drive to Thekkady , on arrival check in to the hotel. Proceed for local Sightseeing (if time permits) else day at leisure or own activities and overnight stay at Thekkady. One of the world's most fascinating wildlife reserves. The Periyar wildlife sanctuary in Thekkady is spread across 777 sq km of which 360 sq km is thick evergreen forest. • Day 4 : Thekkady to Vagamon - Transfer & Sightseeing

  Start your day with a sightseeing tour of Trivandrum, (Thiruvananthapuram) literally means 'the abode of Anantha', the snake God. The main attraction of the city is the Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple dedicated to Vishnu (also known as Padmanabha) reclining on the snake Anantha. The imposing gopuram (gateway tower) and intricate sculptures of the temple make it a very popular tourist attraction. Later visit Napier Museum, an art and natural history museum which houses a collection of archaeological and historic artifacts, bronze idols, ancient ornaments, a temple chariot and ivory carvings. Sri Chitra Art Gallery (Closed on Mondays & Wednesday forenoons) displays the original paintings of Raja Ravi Varma which houses a collection of paintings from the Rajput, Mughal and Tanjore schools. The collection also includes unique copies of Indian mural paintings from prehistoric times down to the 18th century. Overnight stay at Kovalam.

• Day 7 : Kovalam to Alleppey - Transfer and Houseboat Stay

  Check out from the resort and drive to Alleppey. Arrive at Alleppey and board the houseboat at noon for a backwater cruise and for an overnight stay. While cruising in these floating luxury- villas, let your eyes settle for the rare and the unusual - skim past Chinese fishing nets, bowed- down paddy fields, and local inhabitants engaged in making coir products, rustic homes, and ancient temples and swaying coconut groves.
