Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Cochin – Munnar

  Pick up from Cochin Airport and leave for Munnar.. Munnar, a mist of lush green hill station up in the Annamalai range of Kerala. Munnar’s tea gardens some of the highest in the world, stretch up the sides of the hills and are interspersed with pockets of forest rich in wild life.

• Day 3 : Munnar – Thekkady

  Today after breakfast check out your hotel and drive towards Thekkady, the Wildlife destination of Kerala. Its also known as the spice bag of the state. You can enjoy a beautiful journey through the hills and valleys of Western Ghat to reach this jungle destination. Check in your hotel and later go for an amazing boat ride( at your on Cost) in Periyar Lake which flows through the Periyar tiger reserve. You will have chance to watch the wild animals like elephant, Bison, Sambar, Deer etc are roaming the both shore. Later as an optional Kathakali show, Spice plantation visit, elephant ride, or an Ayurvedic massage treatment there. Overnight stay at Thekkady Hotel.
  
  Periyar Wild Life Sanctuary Boat Timings: 07:00; 09:30; 11:30; 14:00; 16:00; hrs. Note: No advance ticket booking for boating at Thekkady; the guest should take tickets directly on arrival. Kindly cross check the boat timings once you reach; since only a few boats are available for cruise at Thekkady.

• Day 4 : Thekkady

  After Breakfast, You are at leisure on this day to enjoy various activities at Thekkady. Activities available are – boating on Periyar lake, spice plantation visit, Elephant safari, agricultural farm tour & sightseeing, nature walk, adventure trekking & camping, border hiking, bamboo rafting, jungle jeep safari, Kalaripayattu – the traditional martial art performance & Tribal art performance. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

• Day 5 : Thekkady - Kumarakom

  Checkout from the hotel after breakfast and drive to Kumarakom. Kumarakom is a tiny backwater hamlet perched on the western banks of the Vembanadu Lake. Balance of the day you are at leisure to enjoy the backwater paradise at its best. Enjoy a visit to the nearby bird sanctuary; an ornithologist's paradise is a favorite haunt of migratory birds like the Siberian stork, egret, darter, heron and teal. Overnight stay at Kumarakom.

• Day 6 : Kumarakom – Backwaters Cruise/Alleppey

  you are at leisure in the morning. Check out from the resort and drive to Alleppey. Arrive at Alleppey and board the houseboat at noon for a backwater cruise and for an overnight stay. While cruising in these floating luxury-villas, let your eyes settle for the rare and the unusual - skim past Chinese fishing nets, bowed-down paddy fields, and local inhabitants engaged in making coir products, rustic homes, and ancient temples and swaying coconut groves. Overnight stay in houseboat.

• Day 7 : Alleppey– Cochin - Depart

  Check out from the house boat at 0900hrs at Alleppey and drive to Cochin airport for your onward Journey.
