• Day 1 : Trivandrum/ Kanyakumari

  Arrival on Trivandrum Airport proceed to Kanyakumari , is located at the southernmost tip of the Indian subcontinent at the confluence of three major water bodies videlicet the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal and Indian Ocean. A small temple dedicated to goddess Kanyakumari - There is a memorial built on the stone in honor of Swami Vivekananda and adjacent to it stands the 133 f thigh statue of Tiruvalluvar, the author of the philosophical work Tirukkural. Visit the Padmanbhapuram Palace, Suchithram Temple, Devi Kanyakumari Temple, Vivekananda Memorial, and TriveniSangamam. Then night stay in Kanyakumari

• Day 2 : Kanyakumari/ Kovalam

  Departing Kanyakumari, you journey to Kovalam a favorite haunt of visitors since the 1930s, Kovalam consists of three successive crescent beaches. Sun bathing, Swimming, Ayurvedic Rejuvenation, Yoga and meditation, Herbal body toning massages, Special Cultural Programs, Catamaran cruising; the possibilities are many.   After the breakfast you will be driven 04 hours to Alleppey, a town with picturesque canals, backwaters, beaches, and lagoons, it was described as the List of places known as Venice of the East by Lord Curzon. It is the administrative headquarters of Alappuzha District. Alleppey has a wonderful past. the present town owes its existence to the sagacious Diwan Raja Kesavadas in the second half of 18th century, district of Alappuzha figures in classical Literature. Kuttanad, the rice bowl of Kerala with the unending stretch of paddy fields, small streams and canals with lush green coconut palms, was well known even from the early periods of the Sangam age. History says Alappuzha had trade relations with ancient Greece and Rome in B.C and in the Middle Ages, as well as with other parts of India.   Today after breakfast you will be driven hours to Kumarakom- a home to a wide variety of flora and fauna. It is a noted bird sanctuary where many species of migratory birds visit. The Vembanad Lake, the largest backwater in Kerala, is habitat for many marine species and it teems with 'Karimeen' (Pearl Spotted Fish ), shrimp (chemmeen in local language) and prawns. The bird sanctuary extends over 14 acres (57,000 m虏), and came into existence following preservation efforts from the government Optional Bird Sanctuary visit or backwater cruise in the evening.   Today you will be driven 4 hours to Thekkady in the Western Ghats mountain range.
