Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival and transfer to the hotel.

  You will be picked by experienced guide, then transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight at Airport guest house

• Day 2 : Transfer to Bwindi National Park

  After your breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel by our experienced driver guide and depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National park. Have a brief stopover for pictures at the Equator (KAYABWE) and proceed to Mbarara for a 2nd stopover for lunch at Agip motel and later on to Bwindi arriving in the evening, settle in the accommodation for dinner and overnight at Ruhija safari lodge.

• Day 3 : Gorilla Tracking

  You will rise relatively early for a jovial breakfast to give you the energy needed for gorilla tracking. Report to the ranger station at 08.00 am where the guides will take you through the forest, slashing at the undergrowth, to track gorillas. This trek can take from half an hour to five hours therefore, a reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as a sturdy pair of walking shoes. On top of that, there are other animals and birds which you could see on the way.

• Day 4 : Transfer back to Queen Elizabeth National park

  In the morning, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park passing via Ishasha sector, where you will have game drives to see tree climbing lions and other animals as well as a variety of bird species. Reach QENP early enough for lunch at Mweya Safari Lodge. In the afternoon, go for a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel, where you will have an opportunity to see a variety of birds such as the king fisher, herons, blue oraco and many more. You will also see game as hippos, crocodiles, buffalos, elephants as they bask along the channel banks. Dinner and overnight at Simba safari camp

• Day 5 : Game drive and boat cruise

  Take a cup of coffee and go for an early morning game drive in this park, provide excellent opportunities to see Lions, Cape Buffaloes, Giant Forest Hogs, Leopards, Elephants, Defassa Waterbucks, Uganda Kobs, Topi and Bush bucks and many more. We shall come back for a formal breakfast. Lunch and relaxation at the lodge. After lunch, enjoy the unique 2-hour Launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of Hippos and many animals and birds, may be seen drinking at the water's edge. This launch cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing, ideal for the Uganda safari .The prolific bird life is colorful and stupendous with well over 550 resident species. Dinner and overnight as above.

• Day 6 : Transfer back to Kampala to the orphanage then to Entebbe for our flight back home.

  You will after breakfast drive through the park. You will have a stopover for lunch before you continue to Kampala. We shall visit Nsambya babies home (an orphanage home in Kampala) whereby we shall have a chance to volunteer in the different activities which the care takers do at this home. Depending on our flight time we shall drive to Entebbe for our flight back home after our trip to Bwindi, Queen Elizabeth national park and heartfelt job done in the orphanage
