The tour begins with a warm welcome at Bagdogra Airport, followed by a scenic drive to Phuentsholing, the gateway to Bhutan. Here, you will experience the bustling commercial life on the northern edge of the Indian Plains before settling in for an overnight stay.

The adventure continues as you travel to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. Along the way, enjoy local sightseeing and immerse yourself in the serene beauty of the Bhutanese countryside. In Thimphu, visit iconic landmarks such as Buddha Point, the National Memorial Chorten, and TashiChhodzong, experiencing the perfect blend of modernity and tradition.

Next, journey to Paro, where you will explore historical sites including Ta Dzong, Rinpung Dzong, and Kichu Lhakhang, Bhutan鈥檚 oldest temple. Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : PICK UP BAGDOGRA TO PHUENTSHOLING (170 KM - 4hrs)

  Meet & greet upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport. Transfer to Phuentsholing, the gateway to Bhutan, by road. Phuentsholing is a thriving commercial center on the northern edge of the Indian Plains. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Phuentsholing / Jaigaon.

• Day 2 : PHUENTSHOLING TO THIMPHU (172 KM - 6hrs)

  Meet & greet with your tour representative from India Bhutan Tours upon arrival. Complete immigration formalities and transfer to Thimphu (7,710 ft.), the capital city of Bhutan. Enjoy local sightseeing on the way to Thimphu. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

• Day 3 : THIMPHU SIGHTSEEING AND TO PARO (65km - 2hrs)

  After breakfast, drive from Thimphu to Paro. Visit Ta Dzong, a fortified lookout tower that is now the National Museum. Walk down the trail to visit Rinpung Dzong, meaning 鈥渇ortress of the heap of jewels.鈥� Next, visit Kichu Lhakhang, the oldest temple in the country. Continue to Drugyal Dzong (Bhutan Victory Fort), built in 1646 to commemorate Bhutan鈥檚 victory over Tibetan invaders in the 1600s. On a clear day, see Mount Jumolhari, Bhutan鈥檚 second-highest mountain at 7,314 meters. Overnight stay in Paro.

BOOKING & CANCELLATION POLICY

• Please note 鈥� Irrespective of above mentioned cancellations slabs 鈥� in case of cancellation of tour services after the booking is made with us 鈥� a minimum 10% service charges would be applicable.
• In case you cancel the trip after commencement refund would be restricted to a limited amount that too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation and missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.

Important Information

• As per Tourism Council Of Bhutan All Indian tourist above 12 years will have to pay 1200 per person per night as Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) and Children 5 to 12 years will have to pay 600 per person per night .Child below 5 years do not have to pay any charges.
• Documents required for Bhutan Immigration is ONLY Voter id/Passport (minimum validity 6 months for passport)
• 鈥� Children below 18 years can carry birth Certificate in English.
• 鈥� SDF charges : Below 5 years is free - 5 to 12 years 600 per night above 12 years 1200 per night( per person per night).
• 鈥� As per new Tourism rules Guide is Mandatory in Bhutan.
• 鈥� Travel Insurance is Mandatory in Bhutan.
• 鈥� Bhutan Immigration office remains opened from 8:30 A.M to 8 P.M all 7 days a week.
• 鈥� Hotels are very strict with the child policy. Please carry the age proof so that it can be produced if asked by hotel.
• 鈥� A valid photo ID proof for all guests staying at the hotel is mandatory.
• 鈥� For Extra adult in the room we will provide an extra bed (wherever possible), but most of the hotels only provide extra mattress or roll out bed. Most of the hotels have no provision of an extra bed.
• 鈥� The above mentioned hotels will be confirmed as per the room availability. Otherwise similar category hotel will be provided. All the rooms are base category.
