With an area of 20,226 km2 Ruaha National Park is the largest National Park in Tanzania and one of the largest National Park in Africa. The park has high diversity in both flora and fauna. Ruaha is home to 10% of the remaining lion population in Africa.
After breakfast at the hotel you will catch a flight to Iringa, where you will be picked up and start your journey to Ruaha National Park. The drive will take about 2 hours. We will check in at the camp and get ready for lunch at the restaurant. Afterwards we will depart for an evening game drive in the magnificent Ruaha National Park. Enjoy Ruaha’s rich wildlife, including antelopes, giraffes, buffalo, lions, leopard, elephants and many more. Dinner will be served at Ruaha River Lodge, Cottage or Bandas
After an early morning breakfast, we will leave for a full day of game drive. Lunch will be served in the park. In evening, we will head back to the lodge or cottage. Afterwards, relax and have dinner at the Ruaha River Lodge, Cottage or Bandas once more
We will head out for an early morning game drive starting at 06.30 until 09.30. After breakfast we will gather all belongings and depart for the drive to Iringa with another game drive en-route. Once we reach Iringa, you will fly back to Dar Es Salaam later in the day.
