Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : GUWAHATI 鈥� KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK

  On arrival, pick up from the airport and drive to Kaziranga National Park. Enroute, visit Kamakhya temple. Check in at hotel for rest and overnight stay.

• Day 2 : KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK

  Early morning Elephant ride in the Central range of the Park. Move to hotel or resort for breakfast. Later after lunch and a bit of rest start for jeep safari in the evening after which free for leisure own your own. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

• Day 3 : KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK鈥� DIRANG.

  After breakfast, we will drive to Dirang via Tezpur (247 kms / 7 and 1/2 hrs) - Located in a spectacular valley, Dirang is famous for its apple orchards, sheep breeding farms and natural hot springs. The hot water springs in Dirang is considered holy by many who travel to them for a dip. Overnight stay at Dirang

• Day 4 : DIRANG - TAWANG

  Today we will drive to Tawang (128kms/4 hrs). On way experience the beauty of Sella Lake in Sella Pass (13746ft), Jaswantgarh 鈥� located 16kms from Sella Pass is a memorial to the brave soldiers who single handedly tried to get hold of the approaching Chinese army during the Chinese aggression in 1962. Evening explore Tawang town.

• Day 5 : TAWANG

  Local sight seeing of听Tawang.Visit 450 yrs old Buddhist Monastery, Ani-Gompa, War memorial, the Birthplace of 6th Dalai Lama, PT Sho. Overnight Stay at Tawang.

• Day 6 : TAWANG

  After breakfast proceed to BumLa pass (Depending on availability of permits). While returning visit Madhuri Lake and other Remaining sights.听Overnight Stay at Hotel/Guest House in Tawang.

• Day 7 : TAWANG-DIRANG

  After breakfast, we will drive to Dirang (128 kms / 04 hrs), en route visit & enjoy beautiful Jang Falls, evening at leisure. Over night at Dirang.

• Day 8 : DIRANG 鈥� TEZPUR

  Drive to Tezpur (196 kms / 06 and 1/2 hrs) - the beautiful historical town of Tezpur is well known for its ancient temples and ruins. Evening visit Chitralekha Uddyan - houses the finest specimen of sculptural remains of 9th century.

• Day 9 : TEZPUR-SHILLONG

  After breakfast, start for a journey to Shillong known as the 鈥楽cotland of the East.鈥�
  Enroute, visit Umiam Lake鈥撎鼸xplore the vast Umiam Lake via boat, and witness its beautiful sunset and landscapes.
  Evening move to hotel for rest and overnight stay.

• Day 10 : SHILLONG-MAWPHLANG-CHERRAPUNJEE

  After breakfast proceed to Mawphlang Village for a visit to the Sacred Grove. Enroute visit Elephant Falls, Shillong Peak and Mawkdok Dympep view point.
  **Option for the Adventure Seekers:
  An option for a trek at the Historical David鈥檚 Scott Pony Trail Path which is a 12 km easy to moderate level trek from Mawphlang to Lad Mawphlang. Evening arrive at Cherrapunjee for Overnight stay.

• Day 11 : CHERRAPUJNEE SIGHTSEEING

  After breakfast enjoy the Sights of the 鈥淲ettest Place on Earth鈥� Cherrapunjee. Visit Khoh Ramhah, Mawsmai Cave, Arwah cave, Noh Kalikai Falls, Dain Thlen and Wei Saw dong Falls.
  Overnight Stay at Cherrapunjee.

• Day 12 : CHERRAPUNJEE-DAWKI-MAWLYNNONG-SHILLONG

  After breakfast, start for a tour to the Mawlynnong known for being the cleanest village in Asia.
  Enroute:
  Riwai Village-听Witness the bio-engineering feats of nature and man, a testimony of man living in harmony with nature which stood the test of time.
  Dawki听鈥撎鼸xperience the enchanting green Umngot River with boating facilities, shop at the indigenous market and feel the excitement of visitors from both side at the international border, Bangladesh.
  Evening return to Shillong for overnight stay.

• Day 13 : SHILLONG-SMIT 鈥揓OWAI-SHILLONG

  After breakfast proceed to Jowai via Smit. Visit Nartiang Monolith Garden Known by legends which depicts the strength of the people of Jaintiapur Kingdom in the olden days. Aslo, the oldest Durga Temple which is believed to be one of the Shakti Peethas of Maa Durga.
  Enroute visit Smit village and Laitlum Canyon. Evening return to Shillong for overnight stay.
